Very nice hotel. Easy access to major highways and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. I would stay at the Hampton Inn in Lancaster again if I travel in the area.

We arrived to check in at 2.20 pm. We were told that there were no rooms available. We went to the pool area to wait. It was 3 pm and we were still waiting. Then, I decided to go back to the front desk. I saw them handing room keys to newly arrived guests. I was very upset because they could have come to us or call us when rooms were available. By the way, they never asked our cell phone number to give us a call. Poor customer service...

We have stayed at this hotel for years..our home away from home for our short getaways to Lancaster...the last 3 times we've stayed there it has not been nice...the rooms are always clean, however the breakfast bar has not been as good as it was a year ago..messy food areas, food not as good, not so nice attendant. (August 27th ) ..asked for spay for waffle iron, after watching a Dad try to get a waffle off for his daughter..it was stuck and it was torn apart getting it off the iron.she said she couldn't because the waffle iron was hot...really bad bananas, waffles aren't as good, they taste different than a year ago also..and a rude front desk clerk..room was not ready and he wasn't nice about it..won't be staying there for awhile or maybe never..tried to get reservations at the Marriott because of the previous problems but they were booked...we did stay at the Hampton Inn in Easton on Aug 28 & 29 and it was great...wonderful front desk clerk, great room and breakfast was okay..

My wife and I visited Lancaster for two nights in August. We stayed at the Hampton Inn which is next door to the Welcome Center. We have stayed there on eight occasions. The service is good. the place is clean and the associates working there have always been courteous and friendly. They have a free breakfast which is adequate. The hotel is located a short distance from both the Tangler and Rockvale outlets. There are entrance and exits ramps to Route 30 close by. It is also a few minute drive to the Amish villages with the multiple shopping areas.

We enjoy the shopping areas and this hotel. Just a short walk from the hotel is a nice designed park with a walking trail.

Room Tip: The basic rooms are two queen or one king bed rooms. The hotel has four floors.

Me and my family just got back from a one night stay at the Hampton Inn in Lancaster, From the moment we arrive we noticed how clean the grounds were inside and out. First appearances really can make or break your decision of a place. The lobby was spotless, the front desk was pleasant upon check in, The room we had was 315 and everything in the room was exceptionally clean,It was a real pleasure that they offer complimentary coffee,24/7, The breakfast has a good choice of healthy food, I would not hesitate to stay here again, and drive over to Hershey, They have a nice size pool , couldn't use it do to the weather being on the cool side in August,If we were to have stayed one more night, I would have use it. So if you need a good Hotel to stay at - you won't have to look any further. Now I just need another reason to return back to Lancaster.

Room Tip: The Hotel was quiet thru the whole night. I would ask the font desk, if your prone to be a light sle...

Another excellent Hampton Inn. A wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices, both hot and cold. Clean rooms and courteous staff. They even had cookies waiting when we returned in the evening. Very close to Dutch Wonderland and close to Hershey Park. Would definitely stay here again.

I would stay here again, breakfast room was a little cramp but not food wasn't bad. It was in a good location, about 5 minutes from Lincoln Highway where all the restaurants and shopping are. There's also a small shopping ctr within walking distance if you don't want to get into your car again. There's restaurants as well. We did not go to the restaurants there this time.
