“Great find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Right next to Peddler's Village in Lahaska on Route 202 you can find this restaurant. It has been there for years and was originally a brew pub before it became the Porterhouse. Although the copper vats have disappeared, the ambiance is still nice with a great bar. The food is very good and there's a varied menu to tempt you. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

“Chef inspired food with a great view upstairs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012 via mobile

My first experience and a great one
Food is chef inspired
Great tasting. It leaning on the fatty side
Must have dessert of a hot bread pudding
Generously portioned with raisins topped with cinnamon ice cream and light caramel sauce
Supposedly everything is homemade and if tastes like it
Spring rolls tasty and crunchy but sopping wet with the fried grease
And what's with the fatty yet delicious sour cream sauce for dipping?
Can get a little loud
a memorable experience with good friends who love the place

“Fantastic Food, Service and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

We have visited this restaurant several times in the past while staying in the New Hope area. During our recent visit last week, we enjoyed our meal, the excellent service and the fun atmosphere of the bar area. We compared our meal to one of the "so-called" best restaurants in the area. We found that not only did we enjoy the food and atmosphere at the Porterhouse more, but that the value we received for our money far surpassed that of the fancy and very expensive dinner at one of the top recommeded restaurants, which we visited during our recent weekend in the New Hope/Lahaska area.

“Fun Atmosphere Good Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

This is a favorite for us when we want a burger or sandwich. The bar area is always crowded and upbeat. Watch the Phillies or find a table in the corner to chat. We have always found the service to be excellent.

“Steak and Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

Porterhouse is my favorite restaurant of all in the Lahaska area. The food is delicious and your tender steak cuts like butter. One of the best parts of this restaurant is the beer sampler and the beer in general. Anything from sandwiches to a delicious steak dinner or pasta primavera with shrimp, yummy!
