“Tastes from the Old World”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

This shop is located in Peddler's Village across the road from the Gloden Plough Inn. They carry food imported from Italy and have an entire room dedicated to Oil & Vinager. Bottles range from $25. to $200. each.
They always seem to have something cooking and free samples. They have all the ingredients you need to make what you just tasted AND they provide you with the receipe card.

When the shop itsn't overly busy the clerks tend to stay with you & shadow you a bit, suggesting items and trying to be helpful. In a shop with so many low priced itmes, I guess every sale counts and they don't want to loose you because you felt that you weren't being helped.

They've expanded recently and took over the old Pewter Shop next door. In the expanded section they have more samples and they offer cooking classes. The samples were good - we haven't tried the classes yet.

“Stop here for a treat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

If you are anywhere in Bucks County, PA or in the area of Lambertsville, NJ, you must stop at Casa Casale in Peddler's Village. I have been coming here a couple of time a year for the past 10 or so years... and make the trip all the way from Maryland! I try to stock up every few months in many of their specialty items... their own Casa Casale tomato sauce is fabulous! Esther, the owner, has made this a quiet little haven filled with wonderful authentic Italy products... mostly directly imported. You will find the most amazing pastas in colors and shapes you have never seen... and the cafe serves the best cannoli and espresso! There are also other Italy made items such as soaps, oils, ceramics, utensils, etc.

“Wow, the Tastings Are a Real Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

Been going there for several years and will continue to do so.
It has the best Italian food. There are real treats, like the flavored vinegars, and the tastings are worth the trip. They even have cooked pasta to taste but sadly no wine.

“Great Cafe and Store, Fun Tasting Events”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2008

The Cafe

This is a wonderful place to stop for coffee and dessert. They have a great selection of items, including cannolis.

I wandered into this store while shopping in Peddler's Village and really had a wonderful time.

The store does olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings as well as pasta tastings featuring all of the products that they sell in the store. They also have cooking classes which I hope to go back and attend one in the future.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable.
