“neat cave, lots of history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Very old attraction shown since the late 1800's; neat tour of the cave with lots of history available. Guide did a good job explaining cave and history. Nice scenic drive there off interstate through Amish country- Don't be in a hurry-.

“Crystal Cave is cool place to visit.”

Haven't been to the cave since I was a young kid with my parents but it was still neat and interesting as a adult. Enjoyable afternoon!

“Good Rainy Day Activity”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

We were already staying in the area and had plans to visit Dorney Park. As far as caves go, it's certainly not the biggest or the most interesting. The tour guides are well trained, informative, and do a nice job explaining the history of the cave. As soon as you pull in the parking lot you feel like you've been transported back to the 1960's. It's probably not worth a trip on it's own, but if you are already in the area and are looking for something to do for a couple of hours, it's worth a visit.

“Enjoyable, especially in July”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Interesting historic curiosity. It stays somewhere around 54f all year, so it's great to visit in July. Good photo opportunities

“Crystal Cave has always been a good experience for families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

I remember going here as a child and always loving it - especially when they turn the lights off in the cave as part of the tour. My 12-year-old son enjoyed it just as much on our recent visit. The Ice Cream parlor was a nice stop, especially during the heat wave. I highly recommend the panning for fossils. For only $10.99 my son received a wonderful collection of different fossils plus the fun of panning for them. Altogether a good afternoon trip for a family.
