“Lovely brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

We visited with friends and had brunch here. Among us we ordered 4 different entrees and were pleased with all of them. Serving sizes were nice, and the ambiance was lovely. Prices weren't unreasonable. All in all, we would return if we were at the gardens again.

“A restaurant to match the splendid gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

As you wander about and marvel at the beauty of Longwood Gardens be sure to stop by the 1906 restaurant (reservation is recommended) for a leisurely lunch. The atmosphere fits with the elegance of the DuPont estate and the food is of the highest quality. Service was prompt and friendly and the meal was good value for money. A wonderful place to dine while visiting Longwood Gardens. A wonderful place to dine, period.

“Beautiful and Splendid”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Tranquil gorgeous spot! Cold corn soup was good but their hand stretched mozzarella with figs was to die for! Complimentary ratatouille delicious. Brioche in a cute popover container was great. The goat cheese omelette was awesome. The organic farm salad with chicken and egg was perfect.

“Good meal and service in a relaxed atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We paused for an early dinner- 5PM- to avoid the crowds on a very busy Saturday, and had no trouble being seated without a reservation. We opted for inside dining and It was a very relaxed meal. Since this is the mushroom capital of the world we both ordered the mushroom ravioli (photo attached), and enjoyed it. The drinks were good, and we had a delicious appetizer of scallops with bacon jam. My only regret is that we didn't have room for dessert.
