This place is a jewel in the middle of Kennett Square that we would never have tried except for the suggestion of friends. Food was fabulous and it was nice to bring a byob. Parking east in the deck around the corner. Noise level was okay even though it was.ca small place with tiled floor and kitchen nearby. We will go back!

The team at portobellos was really nice and friendly as I arrive to dine alone on a business trip. The food was delicious and came out in Well timed. They are BYOB but there are options nearby for purchase.

Great food and atmosphere. The mushroom soup is very good and the entrees never disappoint. It is a small quaint place with a great waitstaff. Always a great night to spend with good friends.

The food was excellent. The staff was very attentive. Our party of four each raved about their food selection. Desert was very good as well. We will definitely be back again. The fact that it's a BYOB makes it all the better.

Went for a second time on a trip to Longwood Gardens and the 2nd was just as great as the first time. Unique menu that is updated often with specials every evening. Very popular place with locals and great food at a dent price. For appetizers we had the Mozzarella Buratta with heirloom tomatoes, basil and oil – really flavorful and nicely presented. For dinner my wife and I split the Eggplant Parm as we knew the portions are extra-large – the parm was excellent and even splitting an order we didn’t finish! Everything we’ve had there is fresh and flavorful and nicely presented. For desert four of use split a chocolate cake which was a nice way to end the meal. This place is not large and gets packed so reservations are highly recommended. The hostess is very welcoming and the wait staff very efficient, high marks for service. The only issue that I’d offer to address is the noise level, the interior walls are brick and the kitchen is open, so gets very noisy inside to the point of being somewhat difficult to hold a conversation within your party, recommend some noise abatement system to help with this, but that is a relatively minor point. Overall, high marks for a great dinner and service.
