We have been to Trattoria before and always thought they had an interesting menu, different from other restaurants in the area. Of course, there isn't much else in this area to chose from.
We finished the small loaf of bread, which was good and the waitress asked if we'd like more. We said, "Yes", and she returned with two small rolls that were dried out (tasted as if they'd been reheated). When I asked if they had any olive oil, she pointed to a bottle on the table. It was disappointing since we're used to other Italian restaurants serving the olive oil with spices in it.
I was still looking forward to my entry thinking they were just having an "off" night. I had the stuffed shrimp over risotto. The shrimp was overcooked and very dry. I looked around for the waitress to say something, but no one ever came around to check on us. The restaurant was only 1/2 full at 7:30 so I don't know where everyone else was, so I just ate it. We won't be back.
