This inviting upscale Italian restaurant is about 4 miles north of Jim Thorpe. It serves some of the best Italian food we have had in a long time with large portions. Even the appetizers are large including a gigantic fried mozzerella with marinara sauce, mussels and excellent bruschetta (my only complaint about the delicious bruschetta was that the foccacia wafers holding the bruschetta were too large and difficult to cut--maybe they should be a smaller size making it easier to eat). Most of the appetizers were $8 and up.
There are also 3 types of soup on the menu as well as a number of salads--Greek ($11), Spinach ($11). Everything is ala carte--no salad or soup is included with the entrees.
We had a number of people at our table and each entree was excellent and a very large portion. There was egglant rollotini wth 2 types of cheeses, linguini and marinara sauce, that could feed 4 people it was so large. Also excellent were platters of veal parmigiana, veal terra mare with shrimp and meat lasagna. Baked dishes were about $12, while others ranged from $16 to about 22. One special for the evening was a Fruita de Mer made up of seafood which was going for about $50.
Good quick service and alot of easy parking at this excellent place. It is highly recommended.
