We stayed at Abbotsford for 3 nights in November 2010 and were beyond pleased with our accommodation choice whilst visiting Swansea and the surrounding area. We had an entire house to ourself, including a double share bedroom, living room, bathroom, and little tea making facility. Each morning we were invited into the breakfast room, where breakfast was served by a crackling fire. Most of the food at breakfast was homemade by Margaret - our host- including jams, condiments, eggs, cinnamon toast. The entire house was Scottish themed, as Margaret and Swinton are originally from Scotland. And the attention to detail around this theme is exceptional. Location wise, we found Abbotsford B&B to be quite close to everywhere we needed. We took a lovely walk along the beach at the end of the road and drove into the town centre to eat at some lovely restaurants (we recommend The Banc). You can really see the passion that Margaret has for her business, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
