“Great hive of activity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

This is a great area for families. Obviously its where boats are moared, however there is a great modern playground for the kid's - and the walking tracks are very safe. There are various attractions on this site also (possibly for the school hols) including the sandcraft tent, bungy trampoline, and jumping castle (which was rediculously expensive). There are some fabulous eateries and unique shopping. We bought fish and chips and sat at the picnic benches overlooking the marina. I would highly recommend a visit to d'Albora.

“Nice place for a walk - safe berthing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

d'Albora Marinas is the Nelson Bay marina and foreshore area. Apart from the well equiped berths for pleasure craft (and comfortable on shore bathroom and lounge facilities) of all sizes it is home to various tour- and charter boats that take tourist out to watch dolphins and - during the season - whales. There are a range of eateries from Subways to fine - el fresco - dining and two bars. During weekends there is usually live music at the band stand and in the bars. When in Port Stepehns visit the marina and have fun.
Several times a year there are "Food and Wine" festivals along the foreshore with the centre of activity at d'Albora Marina.

“Lovely spot to gaze out over the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

Lots of eating spots and little shops to browse in here. A nice water view and the feel of the sea. It's clean and the day we were there they had free entertainment in the main area.

“Spoilt for choice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

The Marina has become rich in the many different eateries they have now! Great bars for afternoon drinks while the sun sets! Some good little shops to have a browse about. The best fish Co-op around. Some amazing boats to look & dream about & just plain awesome views!

“Feeling very tired”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

The Marina is feeling very tired and run down. People smoking in all the outdoor areas made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. Restaurants on the Marina are quite pricey. No clear signage for lifts to make pram access easier.
