“A Lovely relaxing place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

We have stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. We have camped and stayed in one of the bathing huts. The camp sites are covered with grass, and eventhough so close to the beach, not a lot of sand to deter the tent pegs. The bathing huts were simple, but lots of fun, The kids made friends each time and the kids club activities were lots of fun. The park we stayed at prior to here was a lot bigger and busier, we loved how quiet and friendly everyone was here.

We recently stayed at an ensuite site for 3 nights, would have loved to stay longer! Right on the beach, kids loved it! We stayed at a quiet time so had a lot of space, great service, would recommend to anyone!

We used this park as a stop over going north for holidays, but we're so impressed that we'll go back for a weekend stay. Our cabin was pool side, spotless, comfortable and well equipped an we only had a standard cabin! The manager couldn't have made it easier for us, we arrived late but all instructions and keys were left exactly where and how he said they would be. The park has great cabins and pool area and the beach is a 30sec walk through the reserve. I stayed here 12 years ago and the difference is amazing - well done!

After leaving our previous destination and driving for 61/2 hours the tranquility of the park was just what we needed. We all enjoyed the very short stroll to the beach through the beautiful scrub where we sat and watched the sunset. Cooking was a pleasure on the gas cooktops(. Anyone who has stayed in a few van parks will know that sometimes it can take an eternity just to boil water on some of the cooking equipment you are faced with). The coloured cabins were so cute and so reminscent of the bathing boxes on Mornington Peninsula (no doubt other famous places in the world too). Our teenage son was able to exert lots of pent up energy he had accrued from sitting for so long in the car,on the jumping pillow. The cabin was pristine and well appointed. I spent the morning before leaving admiring all the wonderful and varied birdlife in the park. Thanks for making the last night of our road trip so relaxing.

Room Tip: If staying for more than a couple of nights with a family opt for the larger accommodation

What a gorgeous spot. Unfortunately the weather was very unkind but as soon as I walked into the reception I found a very warm welcome. Not always found at caravan parks.

The cabin was immaculate and very modern and the heating was perfect as even though it was a reverse cycle it was silent and warm.

Would definitely return if possible.

Room Tip: We chose the deluxe cabin which was $115 and definitely worth it.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin that was one of the best that I have encountered. It was roomy and well equipped with effective heating and 2 bathroom en suites. Our balcony looked over a grassy lawn with a short walk through the trees to a wonderful sweeping ocean beach where you can walk for kilometers, The park is in a lovely garden setting and bird life is plentiful. It is a little way out of town and hills are steep but it's secluded location is worth it. Nambucca Heads is spectacularly beautiful and this park sets it off well. A great place to stay,

Room Tip: 2 bedroom cabins on the front facing the grass have 2 bathrooms
