This particular venue has undergone several name and ownership changes over the years, but the latest could be a winner. It is on the Princes Highway at Milton but there is plenty of parking next door in the church car park. The restaurant has a good wine list but it is also BYO with corkage $2 a person. The food is "modern Australian". Three of our party of four ordered the beef medallions with prawns and scallops, and one had the barramundi. All the meals were cooked to perfection, the only niggle being some green beans which could have done with a bit of extra cooking. Desserts are particularly good if you have a sweet tooth and the staff are young, enthusiastic and -- sometimes a rarity in regional areas -- competent. All in all, good for a night out or a special occasion which will not break the bank.
