We have just ended our fourth holiday at Merimbula Beach, it is the first time for our two year old and our seven year old just loves staying there because of the pool and jumping pillow. We look forward to coming back next year and hopefully mum and dad can relax also

I stayed in this park 20 years ago and thought it was a great place, we stayed here again and its even better. Hard to believe as so many parks have changed for the worse, this place has changed and moved forward for the better.

I stayed in a Water view spa villa for one night during a transit stop between Phillip Island & Canberra. The room was wonderful: set of bunks in a separate room, dining area adjoining stocked kitchen (with full size fridge), TV, air conditioning, heater, separate bathroom with huge corner spa (& shower) & a comfortable QS bed with crisp sheets (with supplied bathroom towels, soap bars & shower gel) with a dividing curtain from main communal area. The water pressure & temperature were great. Outside there is an undercover BBQ, sink & large wooden picnic table. Great to be able to park right at the door, even undercover if need be. The Australian style power points are in awkward places & in sufficient in numbers to charge computers & electronics – thankfully I take a power board with short extension cord. This place was not noisy at all – pretty much ending by about 9pm. Needless to say, this is a very family oriented location with plenty of kids dedicated areas (activity rooms, pool, play equipment, etc). There are 2 swimming pools with lounge chairs. There is a large, well equipped communal camp kitchen with BBQs and a laundry in the ablution blocks. I had full mull mobile phone reception. I used my personal mobile wireless internet & am unsure of wireless options offered (if any) at the tourist park.
There is a great shopping/supplies precinct, an array of cafes to choose from & beautiful bays & lookouts close to this accommodation. Given this was a stopover during a road trip, I used my one night in Merimbula to rest & relax – but I do intend to return to complete some scuba dives & explore more of the wonderful countryside.

We had a great time at Merimbula Holiday Park. The Seabreeze cabin did not disappoint and met our needs adequately...very comfortable bed! Location was superb as we could see the beach and the whales from our cabin. Great facilities that catered to all ages...jumping pillow, playground, swimming pool(needed to be warmer weather for me to go in), arcade room and planned activities for the kids. Everything was neat and tidy...grounds kept well. Best part was getting away from the routine of life and just being able to rest a bit. Worst part was three out of the five of us had gastro from the first night so made the stay not as relaxing as it could have been.

We can honestly say that our stay a Merimbula Beach Holiday Park was the best holiday we have ever had. Even the cool windy mornings (most out of character for this time of the year) could not dampen the fantastic time we all had. We could not possibly fault any of the friendly staff members and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The poolside combo we stayed in was so beautiful and spotlessly clean. Even the BBQ on our balcony was sparkling! And the view!!! I think the best way to express our opinion is the fact that on the third day of our stay we rebooked for a longer stay next year... and we can't wait!!!

This holiday park is simply the best, the kids loved it even the one that got sick. The service was great. The views are fantastic, the walks to the beach relaxing. All round it was a really good holiday that my wife and i needed. We will be coming back soon.

We stayed in The Merimbul Beach Holiday Park 7 nights and found it to be one of the cleanest we have stayed in.
Spar cabin was clean & comfortable
Location was just out of the town but did not worry us as it was quiet.
The amenities for children were first class.
Staff very friendly & obliging at all times.
