Stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the break away from Brisbane in a comfortable room with a wonderful afternoon sunset outlook over the Clarence River (well above any flood level). The hospitality of Sean and Kerrie-Ann was excellent. Located away from the tourist strip of Yamba, but close enough to enjoy the coast and hinterland offerings. Well recommended, either for an overnight stop when travelling or for longer periods.

Room Tip: No 3 (double)

Lucky to find this Gem just off the highway, spotless, with all the added little extras and the bed was the best we have slept in since leaving home. Breakfast was enormous and priced very reasonable. Will definitely stay when next travelling that way.

This is a place that you will go back to. Thankyou for the most professional service. The best nights sleep we had between Port Douglas and Perth . If we are ever back in Maclean we will return to this motel.

Very nice and helpfull people. Very clean appartments. Very quiet place for a good nigth sleep. Leave the excit Maclean from the Pacific Highway. Just five minutes and you are there. The hosts Sean and Kerrie-Ann Brennan are very friendly and helpfull people. The quality of the motel in combination with the prize we had to pay was for us the best motel we experienced in the five weeks we travelled through Australia. If you are in the neighbourhood, it's absolutely the place you have to stay. Johan and Coby Teuben from the Netherlands.

Room Tip: Doesn't matter. Points for the swimming pool is a mistake. Because we don't know if there is...

This is a great litle motel for a stop on the way from Sydney to Gold Coast. Nothing too fancy but spotlessly clean with everything you could want. Has a microwave which is great if you want to have an easy dinner without going into town. The bed & pillows were very comfy and the bathroom absolutely spotless with extra handtowels, washers etc. Our room was a double & had a small sofa to relax on and a table & chairs to eat breakfast. The owners are friendly & very welcoming. The position is good as you have a view of the river. We really like Maclean and love to have a little wander around before heading off - lots of good coffee to be had!
