Had a wonderful two night stay. Everything was amazing. It was so romantic, staying in the Cedargetter Cabin. We had to try the Spa bath on the veranda, Superb. Everything was thought of, including the folder with all the local attractions and walking trails. Watching the Platypus swimming from the veranda was one of many highlights of our stay. Will be coming back for more and this time I'm bring the fishing rods to try and catch some of the Bass in the creek. Thank you for a wonderful, romantic stay.

Hi Steve and Chrystele,
Thank you for reviewing us on Trip Advisor. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay, and that's great that you were able to see the platypus! Its certainly a treat to see them swimming around in their natural habitat. We hope to see you again soon.
Kind Regards,
Cherie

Its not often you can come away from having a holiday feeling like you have actually HAD a holiday.
Ripples on the Creek is just perfect in everyway - The surroundings, the service, the amenities from the beginning of our stay to the very end we couldnt have asked for more.
We will be returning - next time for even longer- to recharge ourselves and our minds.
Congratulations to the great staff at Ripples for providing us with a very much needed and delightful time.
We urge anyone reading these reviews to do themselves a favour and make the trip to this little piece of paradise and serenity.

This is a wonderful place to totally zone out of the 21st century. There is limited reception for some mobiles and another bonus there is NO TV reception (I had 3 days of total sport ban...yay!) but the little home has a variety of DVDs, books and some puzzles. Ripples is located on the Lions Road, approx. 20km north of Kyogle. It is so quiet except for the cows in the distant and the various birds chatting away. You can hear the cars on the Lions Road but it certainly does not have any effect on the ambience of Ripples. The price includes a well stock continental breakfast basket, very generous. The lovely cabin over looks a beautiful very clean flowing creek which is suppose to have platypus but we unfortunately were not lucky enough to view. From every room we felt totally private, including the spa on the verandah. Unfortunately it was too cold for us. I would suggest for a lazy night from cooking to order the lamb stew, it was waiting for us on our arrival and it was delicious. Quite a generous serve that we were able to get another meal from it. The owners were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. A place well worth visiting for a short break. The cabin is very tastefully decorated. We were sad to leave after 3 days, but left totally refreshed and relaxed.

Room Tip: The creek would be a lovely swimming hole on a hot day. Either cabin would be perfect.

Thank you for providing feedback about your stay on TripAdvisor; we greatly appreciate it.
We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay - including the quiet atmosphere, the dinner and breakfast hampers, the wildlife and also the lack of TV reception!! It certainly is a great place to unwind at a much slower pace!
We look forward to having you again one day.
Kind Regards,
Cherie

My daughter and I stayed at Ripples on our way up to Cairns. We booked for two nights but it was so relaxing we had to extend our stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, supplying us with a breakfast hamper when we arrived late with no food!
The cabin was nicely furnished with a beautiful outdoor bathtub looking out onto the creek. The grounds and gardens were immaculately kept, which made it very easy and enjoyable walking down to the creek for our daily swim.
Unfortunately we couldn't eat at their restaurant because it was closed during our stay, but the menu looked superb utilising local produce, and I'm sure it would have been to the same high standard as the rest of the service was.
I can't wait to return!

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend away at Ripples. Everything was perfect; the cabin, spa, food, view - it was all amazing!!! We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the next day and it was so yummy and incredibly fresh. Nothing like seeing staff go out into the garden to pick produce to make your dish. We will be going back as soon as we can, I miss it already.

Found this place thanks to trip advisor. We are from WA and were in NSW for a brief business visit.
Absolutely stoked with everything. On short notice, I rang only a few hours before we arrived, they were able to provide gluten free options as well. Very impressed.
Missed out on the restaurant which was not open on our night but I hear it's lovely too.
I am always looking for a comfortable bed and pillow and "Ripples" did not disappoint. The whole cottage is well appointed with complimentary toiletries. Rate includes continental breakfast. Very nice.
I could rave on....lovely location, friendly owners, beautiful birdsongs. Platypus playing in the creek!
You will enjoy this place.
The trains didn't bother us. Bed was so blissful!

Room Tip: Ceder Keeper cottage closer to the river. Lovely comy bed and pillows.
