“A wonderful place to visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

We arrived around dusk following a sure real drive down into the valley travelling along the winding roads.
Our mountain cottage was Elysium which was set amongst goats, alpacas and a friendly pig named Kevin Bacon...!
The cottage was perfect and I could have lived there for ever. In the evening the meadows were covered with wild Kangaroos and even spotted a wombat.
A totally magical experience that I would love repeat. Strongly recommend this as a break from the big cities and found it relaxing and a beautiful place to be. Jan who ran the place was great and very friendly . She wanted to give us a lovely experience and succeeded.
Can't wait to return.

We arrived at reception and were warmly welcomed by Jan the owner. The large cottage was clean and well maintained. The views from every room were spectacular. At dusk one evening a kangaroo and her joey came down off the mountain and came so close to the cottage I got some nice close up photos. It was a romantic two night stay for us. The privacy and seclusion of the cottage was fantastic. Only one and half hours drive from our place provides an excellent opportunity for us to visit on a regular basis. Highly recommend The Heavens.

Modern, purpose built, couple cottages, very well-appointed and spacious. We arrived late on Friday night and our cottage was made ready for us with music on the stereo, low-lights on, and a substantial breakfast hamper and bottle of wine ready to go - a very welcome arrival!
We were delighted to find that we had a large deck outside the cottage with 2 sunbeds, a BBQ and dining setting overlooking the scenic valley and escarpment. And wallabies hopping about in peaceful the mid-darkness. Nature on our doorstep!
The next afternoon we'd booked a couples-massage, and they set up their two massage tables in the huge bedroom. It was very relaxing to just be 'at home' for a message, and afterwards it was a pleasure to jump in the jacuzzi bathtub and sip champagne while watching the beautiful sunset outside the picture window.
The stereo was good and there were some good CD's supplied for us to explore through. The BBQ was nice for dinner, and the fireplace made the cottage cosy as the night was cool.
So lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney and enjoy the beautiful Kangaroo Valley from this lovely cottage - highly recommended!

Room Tip: We had Inanna cottage and it was LOVELY!

Stayed in the Elysium cottage in October 2013 and had a fantastic time. Cottage was very well furnished with a great spa bath as well. Beautiful view over Kangaroo Valley and our little son loved meeting the resident goats, alpacas, ducks and Kevin the pig

We enjoyed time in this beautiful cottage for our ten year anniversary. It was truly breathtaking. Waking up to eat breakfast while watching the sunrise over the valley with nothing in site but nature can't be beat. As for the cottage, it was immaculate, modern and spacious just as other reviews mentioned. We will be coming back one day.

Me and my partner stayed here in the aurora cottage on new years 2010. It was a beautiful setting. The place sits high on the hill thus beautiful panoramic views are on offer. We loved sitting in the spa absorbing the escarptment in front of us. The cottage was immaculate, very modern and quite spacious. As it was summer we didnt use the fireplace but it looks great. On site there is a homestead for the owners, as well as three cottages. Aurora is the most private one, about 100 metres away from the nearest cottage. We loved it, such a relaxing place. The breakfast was great, must recommend the fresh butter and eggs. The tarriff is not cheap, but well worth it unlike others in the area that weve tried.

We stayed in the Inanna Cottage for 3 days and it really was slice of heaven. So much so that I don't want everyone else to find out about it!

The layout of the cottages on the property means that, unlike many other self-contained cabins we've stayed in, privacy is truly guaranteed. The cottage has a gorgeous view of the mountains, and is perched on top of a hill, perfect for a bushwalk. There are kangaroo's aplenty to be spotted and a huge variety of birdlife.

The cottage interior is just gorgeous and very comfortable. Everything has been thought of - cd and dvd player, ipod dock, teelights, current-issue magazines, kitchen utensils, bbq, picnic blanket, robes. The complimentary sparkling, chocolates and breakfast hamper were lovely. A quick flick through the Guestbook comments show just how much other guests have loved it too.

Three days wasn't enough...
