“Great spot. Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

This is a fantastic pub. Excellent outdoor restaurant area. Great with kids as it overlooks a massive grass area. The food was also great. Good range on the menu and high quality pub meals. We were there on a VERY busy weekend and although we had to line up for a short period to order, our meals were ready in no time at all. We ate here 3 times over the weekend and we were never disappointed.

“Just needs a bit of tweaking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013 via mobile

You'd be nuts if you didn't drive out of your way to visit beautiful Huskisson and likewise nuts if you didn't have a schooner or three in the fabulously renovated Husky pub.
I've been a few times and some of the tucker is ok and some not so good. Teenage table staff are NOT born with the ability to actually clean tables and need to be taught. Icky sticky tables on all visits were really lowering the tone and really I don't want to help them clean up thanks all the same.
I wouldn't dream of driving past without a visit !

“Really poor experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

I rang to make a reservation a week before our trip to Jervis Bay. When we arrived at the pub there was no record of my booking.

We then ordered our meals (2 families ordering straight after each other). We had to wait 1 hour before the meals even started to appear. One family received their meals 40 minutes after the other family, one meal was undercooked and another way too salty to eat.

I emailed the next day to complain but have still received no response.

Overall this experience was extremely unsatisfactory.

“High quality 'pub' food. Amazing beer garden.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

One of the best beer gardens in Australia. I notice by previous comments that it's been recently renovated. Looks damn good to me. Maybe they could have kept some lawn but the out door dining area is simply amazing. Must also say that for 'pub' food and service, this is a cut above the rest. With wifey have so far have tried the chicken salad, oysters, calamari and bruschetta. All quality restaurant standard. This is no 'pub' food. The oysters some of the best I have tasted. Better than fine dining. I recently ate at Cutler and Co in Melbs and had the oysters and these beat them hands down. The bruschetta has way over delivered. Eating it at the minute and it is incredible. The bread thick and soft, and toasted. How do you do that? The avocado perfectly ripe and plentiful. The honey soy sauce under the dish sooooo tasty. Best I have had anywhere. Great size serving also. Not going hungry here. The service has also been amazing. Very friendly and helpful at the kitchen and bar counter. Hate the sports bar area with the poker machines, that is plain aweful, but might suite some old timers. Staying overnight and looking forward to tasting more. This is a great venue.

“Good Pub Lunch and Fantastic Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Stopped by the recently renovated Husky Pub for a cold beer and lunch. The owners have kept the beautiful heritage Art Deco building, but enhanced the interior and also built a fantastic outdoor deck area which looks over the unspoilt beaches of Jervis Bay.
Great lunch menu and cold beer (with the frosty cold glass)! Focus on fresh seafood, bucket of prawns, oysters, freshly caught beer battered flathead, pizzas, pasta, etc.... We all had the Wagyu Beef Burger, with egg, beetroot relish, tomato and caramelised onions (and chips of course)! Delicious....service was good and staring at the ocean while drinking beer and eating in the sun in summer is of course one of my favorite past times.......
