“Old style milk bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

If you like the old style milk bars (60s to 80s) then you will love this place. Real large cold milkshakes still served in the stainless steel container, hamburgers with beetroot on real bread rolls (no processed chemical junk like the fast food joints use) and old style cafe meals. Well worth a visit and worth seeing the 'in house' memorabilia.

“Go somewhere else!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

I ordered crumbed cutlets. It came with vegetables and a large amount of crinkle cut chips covering the meal. Thankfully I had ordered the gravy on the side or I could imagine everything would have been swimming in it. The cutlets were overcooked and I found it hard to find the meat in one of them.I took one mouthful of the broccoli and it was just sog. The carrots were crinkle cut and the cauliflour not too bad. I have been away for a month and this was by far the worst meal I have had. My husband had the mixed grill and everything was overcooked in that. We both left a large amount on our plates which we normally would eat every skerrick. From our experience I'd say stay away.
