A great addition to the otherwise barren restaurant scene in Gosford.
This restaurant has a lovely, relaxed feel and pleasant views over the park. The service is particularly exceptional and the staff have an excellent knowledge of the menu and the wine. There's a real enthusiasm among the staff that's sadly lacking from a lot of other places and they they do seem to genuinely care about the quality of your dining experience.
The food is good quality Lebanese. There's a little bit of a sameness about some of the dips so be careful not to order too many of them. It's also risky to eat too much of the bread before the mains arrive.
We chose one of the banquet options and we were overwhelmed by the amount of food that arrived. I was initially a bit disappointed and then realised we'd only had the first round of food! Dips, lady fingers, and other entrees were followed by a Moroccan inspired chicken curry, huge skewers of meat kept warm by great slabs of flat bread and a zingy salad with loads of fresh herbs and lemon juice.
Take your appetite and plenty of time if you want a banquet option; they're great value for money. Or order a selection from the menu. Be brave and have something a bit different. It's all good.
We noticed they provided great service to people with small children. This would also be an excellent venue for a large group, although the hard surfaces make the inside space very noisy: stay on the verandah if you can.
