My collegue and I were ordered to vacate our rooms before the end of our booked stay with Management feigning ignorance of our stated requirements. We later came to learn that they had huge bookings for what one of the managers referred to as A family function to one of us and a tournament of some sport to the other. We were very disapointed with the treatment we received given that we had stayed there on numerous other occassions. I wouldn't recommend staying here during high peak season as it could happen to you if they got better business in bigger bookings.
Staff are however; usually very pleasant and they keep the rooms clean

We arrived at the Willows on our last night of our drive around Australia. We were so happy to find a quiet, relaxing, comfortable, affordable and friendly place to stay the night.

It was not excessively flash or fancy, but it was just spot on for what we needed.

A group of five families stayed the night here and were very happy with the location, price, cleanliness and standard considering we only paid $117 for the night. We often travel every weekend because of our sons soccer games and this was by far the best value we have come across in the 3 years of soccer travel. We have paid a lot more money for way less quality in previous stays else where.
The location is about a 4-5 minute drive to Blue Tongue stadium, which we found very handy. Some of the other travellers with us went straight past the Willows because of their GPS, but it is very straight forward and not at all hard to find.
Our room had a queen bed and a fold out sofa bed that sleeps 2 comfortably. There were table and chairs, toaster and kettle, bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. Instead of a bar of soap they had 3 canister's in the shower 1 of shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 soap. On the wall in the bathroom were a canister of soap and 1 of body cream, there was also a hair dryer as well. There is a sliding door leading outside to a little under cover porch area with a table and 2 chairs or if upstairs they have a balcony with tables and chairs. There is no smoking inside the rooms and this is pointed out at reception and in your room. I did not notice any ash trays outside rooms though, so maybe they need some of these around the motel.
The motel appeared pretty full and we'd all come back and stay here again for our next game in Gosford.

The Quality Inn The Willows is located conveniently just between Gosford and Wyoming. But, heed this warning; don't just put the address into your GPS. Ours took us 30 k away and the front desk staff told us that the same has happened to many others.

The property is pretty well-designed and offers the amenities you'd expect from this level of hotel.

What it is lacking is a sense of customer care. We only stayed one night but observed this:

- While we were checking in a guest came to the desk with a broken TV remote from his room. He asked for a replacement. He was told that they didn't have any. "What should I do?" was his reasonable question. "I don't know" came the somewhat disinterested reply.

- On Sunday morning I went to the front desk and asked where I could get a newspaper; fully expecting one to be available at the front desk or in the restaurant. The cheery attendant replied with a smile "you can get one right across the road at the newsagent.". I didn't venture across the four lane highway to retrieve a paper.

- We thought we might have breakfast before departing and returned to the front desk at about 10:00 AM. "Do you have a restaurant" I asked. "Yes, we do", she replied. "Is it open"? I asked, "No. It closes at 9:30. And it isn't open for lunch or dinner on Sunday". Again, she was quite cheerful. Happy to tell me to go somewhere else to eat.

So, all in all, it you're looking for a clean room, a good bed and a convenient location this place works. If, however, you expect some type of guest services for your $150.00, keep looking.
