The room was basic, but very clean. Comfy bed. Aircon worked too well, but i like it cool anyays. Reception staff courteous. Ample car parks available. I had ground floor room, very quiet. Recommended for a one night stay.

This is advertised as Ibis Budget, previously Formule 1 . You get what you pay for.
I was blocked from returning home by a bushfire on the M1 and was so grateful for a clean room with en suite facilities. Don't need all the fancies. There are cheap restaurants all around including McCafe, so i do not need in room TMF.

Full marks to the Accord team.

Washroom is tiny but knowing that I have booked a budget hotel and that I just need a place to sleep in after a day out, the place met my basic needs. It is neat and the staff are helpful. The queen size bed is reasonably clean (I found a few strands of hair on the overhead bunk bed though), functioning shower, public computers with quick internet access at reasonable costs (cheaper than internet kiosks in the malls), and availability of microwave. The payphone is quite expensive though compared to the internet. $1 per call for less than 2 minutes. Quite good location, several restaurants nearby, one minute to bus-stop and about ten minutes walk to railway station.

This hotel is terrible. It's painted the colour of a mental institution on the inside and has the air of one too. A three floor hotel without a lift is unbelievable, even at a budget price. We'd have been better off sleeping in the car. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, duvet was about 1mm thin and sized for a single bed, not a queen or even a double.,Air conditioning unit sounded like an aircraft taking off, did not work properly or heat the space and could not be used during the night if we wanted to attempt sleep at all. The temperature was below 1 degree C overnight. No extra blankets/linen available, One 2mm thick blanket given when the hotel staff were asked. Shower head at approximately chest level on me (I'm 6'), water either scalding hot or freezing cold. Breakfast was a joke, two stale pieces of bread available, coffee was the most appalling quality and juice was non-existant. We ended up going next door to McDonalds instead, despite having paid for breakfast as part of our room rate. I would never recommend this chain to anyone else and will never darken their doors (or those of any of the other hotels in this crappy chain) again. Ever. The website is a lie, the hotel does not look like it is portrayed. There's budget accommodation and then there's the Ibis. Appalling. I've stayed in budget backpackers for less than $2 a night in some pretty out of the way places that had better facilities and service than this place.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel.
