Great place to stay, basic rooms but clean, pool and gardens were well kept. Best value in Byron.

Not a reflection on the Hotel but during our stay, my ATM card was skimmed which ruined the whole holiday. We were having so much fun we even considered staying another night.

Hotel is great. Watch your back in Byron, don't let the laid back lifestyle lull you into a false sense of security.

Room Tip: They are all good.

Can’t rate this motel high enough for no other reason than the manager gave us his very last vacancy when we discovered we didn’t have the reservation we thought we had elsewhere in town and did not realize we had arrived in the middle of “schoolies week”. We were so lucky that a cancellation had opened up what was probably the very last room in the Byron Bay area. We just stayed one night. It was a basic but quiet first floor motel room, with nice patio access to the pool area. We also took advantage of the laundry facilities. My only complaint was the room felt a bit damp but that may have just been the result of rainy weather and high humidity. The motel is not within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The manager ran a tight ship when it came to the schoolies also staying while we were there so there were no problems. Thank him again for me!!

I've been to the Sunseeker twice now and both times have been great, could not fault the staff or the facilities. I like to stay in the cottages. The cottages are reasonably priced. There is an opinion for open plan or bed room and lounge area. The pool, BBQ area and grounds are always very well kept. I will keep coming back to the Sunseeker.

Deborah & Graham run a friendly and comfortable motel, just a short walk from Byron's shops, but far enough away for a quiet rest! A comfortable room that was reasonably priced and very well equipped. Set just off the main highway to Bangalow and the south, the grounds were quiet with ample parking, lush garden and inviting pool. I 'cold called' for a room (had not booked) and left with a warm feeling!

Nothing appeared too much trouble to make you feel 'at home'.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms have patio door to small balcony

Stayed here multiple times over the years and keep coming back.

Clean and comfortable rooms.
Very well maintained pool & camp kitchen.
Good laundry room.
Easy parking.
Good friendly hosts.

Many places in Bryon are quite stuck up themselves... this one is not !!

This was a reasonably priced, unpretentious and great place to stay at Byron Bay. There was a lovely BBQ and outdoor kitchen area to make dinner and i enjoyed a comfortable stay as i explored the areas surrounding Byron Bay.

Booked this motel on lastminute.com for a 2 night stay.
Motel is about 1.6km from Byron centre, so if you dont mind walking (or a short car drive) it is a great location away from the noise of the party crowds in town.
We arrived early and were allowed an early check in, which was great. Spent the afternoon walking and ended up doing the Lighthouse circuit - 11km from motel to town centre to lighthouse and back to motel. A rewarding walk as we saw dolphins and whales playing in the ocean.
The room itself was not flashy but a very good size; very useful for all our motorcycle gear. We had Room 2 (handicapped room) which included a double and single bed, small table with chairs, cupboard, kitchenette with microwave, sink, toaster and kettle.
A small patio faced the pool and included table and chairs. The pool was clean and cold!
A free BBQ was available for use by motel guests which was good as there were no cooking facilities in the room.
Bed was comfortable and had an air con above it. Curtains were dark and helped keep the morning sun out - good for a well deserved sleep in!
The TV in the room had some cable channels, but we were disappointed that there wasn't a DVD player (we had brought a movie to watch).
The motel owners were very friendly and happily recommended places to visit and eat.
We ended up getting "Legend Pizza" delivered the first night and the local RSL (about 1km walk) for a quick but tasty feed the second night.

Only 'complaints' were no DVD player and the fact that our ceiling fan didnt work. Other than that, the room was quite adequate for our needs.
