“Nice but not quite for us”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

The rooms are nice, the facilities look great but for some reason it didnt quite work for us. We had a ground floor room and the windows offered little privacy only a blind which blocked pretty much all light from the room. We didnt use the kitchen/bbq area but it looked clean and well provisioned. There was a "shin busting" bed that was comfortable once you'd successfully negotiated your way into it. No room service was not a problem for three nights but we had to ration the soap towards the end. Position on the edge of town was easy walking distance but there are plenty closer.
Perhaps if you availed yourselves of the spa and kitchen it would be good value but for us it was about the right price.

Spent three amazing days here and have nothing but praise, such a great location and facilities with all the thoughtful little touches. Rue & Alan were absolutely fantastic with lots of great suggestions on what to do and where to go, & when I accidently left my purse in the room it was mailed to me straight away without accepting my insisting to pay for postage! one if the cleaners Carmen was absolutely lovely too, overall a wonderful place, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Byron!

Very luxurious rooms with the added bonus of a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi at the end of a busy day. Great location to see Byron Bay! Would highly recommend to friends, gorgeous rooms ideal for a romantic getaway!

What a great little option in Byron Bay!

Aabi's has an unusual set up. It's not quite a hotel, but it's certainly not a B&B. Rather, it's a series of townhouses that have been divided up into individual hotel style rooms. Whatever the case, it works well.

Rooms are clean, modern and well maintained, with all the bits and pieces that you would expect. Tea and coffee was available, as were a couple of yummy packets of Byron Bay Biscuits....always a treat. Toiletries were good without being spectacular, and there were more than enough towels, spare blankets and the like. Wifi was fast and free (thank you, at last in Byron Bay!!).

Service was quick and efficient, and check in took just a couple of seconds. I was only in the room for a single night, so the lack of servicing was not an issue.

Nice location opposite Lexis English, close enough to town to be a pleasant walk and far enough out that you don't have drunks passing out on your doorstep all night.

Overall, a really good choice in Byron!

Every now and then you stumble across a stay that just goes to the next level, and Aabi's at Byron is one such place. The stunning gardens and surrounds, the spotlessly clean property and a room that was simply beautiful awaited us upon our arrival. I am still in awe of this property and it represents probably some of the best value I have ever seen, and thats saying something I can assure you. The spa is the best I have ever experienced and there is free wi-fi and a undercover BBQ plus much much more. One word, Brilliant !!

Room Tip: Do yourself a favour, go stay.

I was whisked away for a celebratory birthday weekend and cannot fault Aabis. My partner had done his research, wanting somewhere close to everything but far enough from the noise at night. We have an enjoyable two night stay and the staff and facilities were faultless. Thank you!

Byron Bay itself is beautiful, but we were given tips on where to see the best views from the really friendly staff here. The room was amazing - it's a fairly new guest house so everything is still absolutely pristine, all the finishings are to the highest standard, a really luxurious place.

Unfortunately, the amazing-looking pool wasn't heated, but that was probably due to it being May, and that seemed to be the case with most of the hotels we stayed in on our trip. But the jacuzzi was lovely, and the sun loungers were very comfortable.

It's in a great location, within easy walking distance of the main street and the beach. It's a nice quiet resort, and although the rooms all overlook the pool, you definitely feel you have privacy on your own balcony/ deck.

There is a BBQ area which is available for guests to use but we were far too busy exploring!

Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: If you have a lot of luggage, go for a ground floor room as the stairs are quite small, but the top...
