“Worst thing was we had to leave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013 via mobile

A luscious oasis we never knew exsisted in Byron, having visited the area several times before. Our stay was a relatively last minute booked honeymoon, which proved a masterstroke. Why go overseas when you can feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of life at this little gem. Simone was so warm and welcoming and it didn't take us long to extend our stay! The outdoor shower was very indulgent and our stay was such a wonderful end to our holiday and a perfect beginning to our life as husband and wife!.

Happy Honeymoon! Should build yourselves your own outdoor shower if you get the chance...it was a pleasure having you both stay and for such a special occasion. Look forward to seeing you in Byron next time. Thank you for such a lovely review.

Loved, loved, loved our stay!! The Garden Burees were exactly as advertised, clean, private, quiet, and so cute. Laying in the spa overlooking our private little rainforest and chatting to the water lizards I felt so relaxed, and as though we were miles from civilisation. Very thoughtful that all the bathroom needs were supplied and a large range of dvd's we could borrow. It was an added bonus to find the Byron Bay Brewery right next door, the food was amazing and very large, and kept my husband happy with the vast selection of beers. We hired bikes from the backpackers and were so happy to find the heart of Byron Bay was no more than a 2 minute ride. We spent our days riding to breakfast, riding back for a spa and midday nap, riding to have a look at the beach, riding back for a spa, riding to dinner and drinks, riding back for a spa! then a quick walk next door for a beer or two. Surprisingly when lying in bed we couldn't hear the bands that were playing at the pub next door. The staff were so friendly and we were impressed with their approach to recycling and the environment. All in all, we loved our stay and will definitely visit again.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful review on us. We really appreciate it. I am so happy you hired bikes when you stayed with us. I agree......getting around Byron on a bike is the best mode of transport and also a feeling of freedom!
We really look forward to welcoming you both back in the future and enjoy all that Byron has to offer. Simone Phillips - Guest Relations manager

From the warm and accomodating hosts to the plentiful wildlife (curious waterdragons, enourmous frogs, tree snakes!), our stay at the garden bures was more than we could have hoped for.

We were never short of things to do with the day spa, brewery, live music, nearby swimming pool and Byron town so close by. The two bedroom place that we stayed was gorgeously decorated and felt so luxurious compared to the rain outside - it was a blissful retreat and I will definitely be returning (hopefully next month!).

Garden Buree's certainly did not disappoint, it was like stepping into Bali. I booked a night away with my partner for our anniversary expecting a cute, intimate hideaway and something a little different - we got this and more. Every detail of the buree 'Yomen', where we stayed, was perfect. The whole rainforest treehouse atmosphere felt like we were in a different world, a home away from home. We felt very well looked after with clear directions, robes, champagne, cookies and coffee. This place is beautiful to say the least - very secluded, private, peaceful and designed to perfection.

Room Tip: Our room was exactly like the photos.

Just so happy that you loved your "treehouse". They are cute and we really look forward to welcoming you back to The Burees. Yomen has just had a new garden put in out the back near the outdoor shower. Can't wait to show you next time you stay! - Simone Phillips Guest Relations Manager

I stayed in a garden buree with my wife on a late honeymoon and we certainly weren't disappointed. Helpful flexible happy staff. Seems like brand new beds and luxury sheets. Clean, tidy, relaxing, private, ceiling fans, outdoor private shower and an indoor spa-bath. And with the town and beach a few mins walk away, the on-site restaurant, cinema, bar, luxury spa it has everything we could have wanted and needed! A great set-up!

Great spot, about a 5-10min walk into town.
Very comfortable, well decorated - a little quirky.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom, lots of room, good sized kitchen and deck. I'm keen to come back and try the three bedroom grand Buree next time

Stayed in Chalet Santosa [ the romantic one] in early Feb 2013. Lovely combination of outdoor "rain-forest" private area [ with shower and water dragons ] - and indoor facilities [ with all the "mod-cons" including DVD player, movies supplied ].
Perfect for my partner's meditation and my more hedonistic activities.
Looking forward to next year already.
