“A lovely weeekend stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

The sun finally came out on a weekend, and we decided to head down the coast for an overnight stay. After phoning around, we tried Brunswick Sails Inn. It is nice to feel someone wants you to stay with them!
From the initial inquiry to leaving, we had friendly down to earth service. The motel is older, but has been refreshed and tastefully decorated. Including cheerful crockery, a nice touch :)

The grounds though not large have well maintained gardens, a lovely pool, with two bbqs and there are even aviaries, a pleasant surprise.

A short walk to the shops and the river. With a great restaurant right on location!

Very well kept motel, our room was very clean and the owners were very welcoming and friendly.

You could tell the owners took pride in their ownership and enjoyed what they did because the place was just immaculate!

Good location and will stay here again.

Normally I drive past this lovely town but from now on I'll stop there rather than Ballina. This motel was a lovely surprise - clean, simple, friendly, and with a wonderful Greek restaurant.
It turns out that oysters are half price on Tuesday and along with a fantastic seafood broth and couple of glasses of wine it made my evening!
Thanks very much guys!

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Rooms were very clean and good value for money. The complimentary plate of homemade shortbread was a nice touch. Located on the main road away from the busy beach area, but didn't notice any traffic noise and is still an easy walk to beach, with a convenience store next door. The Greek Restaurant is fantastic.

Stayed Saturday night in a refurbished room. Owner Robyne could not be more helpful.

Motel is in walking distance to everything.

Bed was very comfortable, room well presented.

I had a meal in the room from the restaurant attached to the motel, again very good.

The owners have worked hard refurbishing the motel. The business is a credit to them.

Room Tip: Refurb room

Stayed 2 nights at this wonderful facility with great rooms, clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning, fridge and flat screen tv. Ample parking on site and only 200 meters from the glorious beach. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site with great food at affordable prices. The swimming pool is a nice feature and we used the spacious BBQ area which is clean and next to the pool. Highly recommend this Motor Inn for people who want to get away for a few days.
Great place for the kids too!

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor are a bit more private.
