The Bowral Cottage Inn is charming and meets every need of the guest. It was toasty warm as we arrived late on a blustery August night. There is a gas fire in the library and a wood fire in the lounge. Complimentary port, sherry , chocolates, cake, tea and coffee warm you further. We stayed in the Throsby room which has a huge comfy king size bed and a decent ensuite with two person spa. Nick nacks abound and are in keeping with Victorian architecture. Two nights stay gives you a free bottle of wine and a continental breakfast of juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, cereal, toast and tea and coffee is provided daily in the sunny dining room.
The gardens would be delightful in summer with many nooks and shady spots. Only a short 2 minute still to the main street where shops and restaurants were plentiful.
Elsa was the perfect host seeing to our needs and the disappearing. There are four ensuite rooms in the inn making this and deal place for a group of friends. Something we might consider when we return.
