I took my young great niece on a three day jaunt around Lennox Head and Ballina area. I required a separate bedroom with a single bed in the living area. We had a spacious unit on the top floor away from the main road and we could also park our vehicle under our window at the back in a small lane. However there is undercover parking right near the main reception also.
The unit had a small kitchenette although no oven and a small cooking facility in its place. We didn't require the oven as we were out and about for a cooked lunch elsewhere and had food in the microwave for dinner and breakfast. A set of table and chairs and two older style stools are near the kitchen area.
We also had a large corner spa(needed slight repair) in the only bathroom which was through the main bedroom, but being two females we didn't mind that. Could have done with a rubbish bin in there and the sliding door needs adjustment or replacing. The decor was pleasant, the linen good. The room was tidied up and toileteries replaced both days and we borrowed a couple of DVD's to watch one night.
We did have to walk up some steps but with a small suitcase each this was no problem.
There are a couple of tables and chairs near the pool in a tropical setting but outside other rooms.
We found this family room (two single beds in the lounge room but no lounge seating) suitable and the TV was a reasonable size with a flat screen. It sufficed for a pleasant 2 night stay but needed some updating and repairs.
