“The anchor store in Merrickville”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

Mrs. McGarrigle's is known for their store made mustard which ships around the world. It is very good mustard, but there is a lot more than mustard in the store. They stock lots of chocolate, cheese and other high end foods. They also have a Friday night take out dinner prepared by a well known local chef. This is quite popular with the locals. You need to order a few days ahead, but it is a nice way to bring home a good meal and a very reasonable price.

It's easy to see why this store continues to attract people to journey to Merrickville

“What a great little shop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Loads of little samples as you walk around. Lots of delicious condiments and cool "stuff". A fun shop to browse and to buy in!

Also a good selection of British treats!

“A spot that really CAN cut the mustard!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

Travelling to Merrickville is always a treat, there are always so many small shops to see. For history buffs the lock ruins are a must, lots of boutiques for the artiste and the fashionista in the family, and for the gourmand in tow this IS the place to visit. They have so many unique and flavourful products to choose from. Tons of delectable mustards, coffees, sweets and spices to choose from, you can be sure you won't go away empty handed!! The staff are always friendly and there is a lot of room to poke around at your own pace. Just when you think you have seen enough there is still the upstairs floor with plenty of treasures waiting for you to explore!! When you there be sure and try the white wine mustard, it's a favourite of ours here at home.
Bon appetit!!!!!!!!!!!!

“What a great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

If you are in Merrickville, you must give this shop a look. It is incredible. You can go crazy picking out mustards, and they are all wonderful. The staff can help you choose just the right flavour for your meal.

But that's just the beginning. They have an extensive selection of imported foods, oils, chocolates and just about everything you can think of...then think some more. You really have to see it to appreciate it.
