“Amazing Rock Formations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

Beautiful trails, wonderful interpretation centre. The trail along the bay shore is amazing with kilometres of flat rock reaching out into the water and along the shore. Bring water and energy bars. Highly recommended.

“Scenic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

The interpretive centre has lovely architecture; the exhibits are geared towards those who are already pretty interested, not so much for casual visitors. We only went a few kilometres on the trails - easy walking to the bay, and benches at various spots to enjoy the scenery; very interesting alveolar stone. The trails have expanded since last we were there, it's getting better all the time.

“Don't let the name fool you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

We have visied the park twice and each visit we saw something different -- all the trails are well groomed, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed reaching the beach where you can cool down after a long hike -- terrain is mostly flat, easy to walk and the trails are marked very well. There is a small fee to enter the park which covers maitnenance and summer staff. Very good parking area nestled into a group of trees that keeps your vehicle somewhat cool for your return.
