On our arrival Julie and Clive(and Sinbad) left the house to greet us then showed us into the conservatory where we were given a most welcomed pot of tea, coffee and cake, we were very impressed as we hadn't expected anything. Our rooms, my sister, I, and our husbands, were very comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and had everything we could want, freeview tv, hair dryer, books if you liked to read, and tea coffee AND chocolate making facilities, a real home from home. The peace of this delightful cottage we all appreciated. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, not only very tasty, but presented beautifully. Many places to visit around the area, all the information is on hand at the cottage. The Stags Head pub in the village is well worth a visit, as is The Bay Tree restaurant in Liskeard, reasonable prices for a very good meal. Julie and Clive deserve every one of their four stars and we would definitely recommend Redgate Smithy to anyone. Our stay was two nights.
