After deciding to visit Cornwall and the Eden Project, we chose the Premier Inn at St Austell due to its convenient location. The Premier Inn is well situated, has plentiful parking and offers a nice Table Table bar/restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
We were booked into our room very efficiently, which had been reserved online, by a very friendly and enthused member of staff. After dropping off our bags we went for a few quiet drinks at the adjacent bar.
The Table Table is very pleasant. Nice internal decor, friendly members of staff, and has a lovely seating area outside offering generous views over the surrounding area. We had breakfast here on the first morning, a choice of an all you can eat continental breakfast (£5.25pp) or a cooked breakfast (£7.25pp). We also ate at the restaurant, good food at average prices. The waitress was fantastic.
The hotel room was well equipped with coffee facilities, television with freeview, and the usual furniture. The only negative points I had with the hotel was the bathroom. When going for a shower, firstly the water pressure was very poor and secondly, upon inspection, around the bath and sink were numerous black hairs that belonged to neither of us.
All in all I would recommend this hotel to others.
