“Comfortable, with friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Stayed here overnight before starting a week's Christmas holiday in Cornwall. Very welcoming, friendly staff, had a nice room with a sea view. Very comfortable and would stay again. Had everything we needed. This review is about the hotel only, not the restaurant next door which we thought was very poor.

We stayed one night while visiting the nearby eden project. The room was lovely, clean, good shower plenty of towels.
The lady on reception was very friendly.
The attached pub was good we went in for a drink the night we stayed and had breakfast the day after which was great. A good choice nice cooked breakfast and as much coffee orange juice, toast etc.
It was good value, we got a £29 deal. And breakfast was value too if you make good use of all that is there.
We would certainly stay again if we could get the same price.

First time staying at Premier Inn and decided on St Austell for a pre-Christmas break after seeing the good reviews on-line. We stayed 5 nights as It was very convenient for our two visits to the Eden Project and visits to other Christmas activities at local National Trust properties. The room was comfortable clean and tidy and the staff particularly friendly and helpful. The big, flat screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities were a bonus. The weather was rubbish but the room warm and cosy, a place to relax after a day battling the elements. We did not experience the dining facilities at the attached restaurant but tried the 'grab and go' breakfast which was very poor.

Stayed for one night when visiting the Eden Project. Staff welcoming and friendly when we arrived, quick check in. Very good room, everything you needed for the night. Parking easy, plenty of room. Did'nt use the pub next door so can't comment on food offerings.
Would stay again if visiting the area.

Called ahead after booking online to ensure I had a sea view room in a quiet location in this hotel. Not only did I get the best room that fitted my request but I also received the best possible service when checking in and throughout my stay. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and will certainly return when ever possible.

First time stay in a premier inn, booked very late although the price was the same as travelodge but premier is clearly better quality! Great staff who go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! All the mod cons including big flat screen tv, hairdryer and tea making facilities. Worth every penny

Stayed here for a night on a weekend break, spent the other night at the Travelodge, no comparison, for the extra I paid for the night here, it was more than worth it !! Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others
