“I have watched this garden grow...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

We have a lifetime membership here and it is one of the best investments we ever made.Over twenty years ago we were invited to invest in heligan if we believed it had a future. It is the most magical place with an amazing story to tell. It's gardens are unmatched in both the range it offers from her ladyships garden to the jungle area and the Italian garden and so much more. A paradise where you can watch the wildlife thrive and see creatures in their natural habitat due to the methods used that recreate traditional gardening without pesticides.
I have only one slightly negative thing to say and that relates to recent changes in the cafe area. The previous layout was fine but the new one causes great confusion and a huge bottle neck if you are trying to get your drinks.prices are not readily available and the cafe is very expensive two hot drinks and a bottle of water and a scone albeit delicious were just over eight pounds.
Having said this you can get entry for a year for twenty five pounds which is incredible and gets you ten percent off in the shop which has some lovely and unusual products.
All in all probably my favourite place and we go almost weekly in summer even though it is half an hours journey away.If you haven't been and get the opportunity to go don't miss out and preferably take a picnic onto Floras lawn and share in the magic of the past. Enjoy.x

“Lovely Lost Gardens of Heligan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

These gardens are a must see if you are in Cornwall. We went with our children (11 and 12 years) - the weather was absolutely awful when we visited but it didn't dull the beauty of these magnificant gardens. The gardens are definitely only for able bodied and fit people so if you are not fit don't attempt a visit.
There is a lovely on site restaurant

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

I loved everything about The Lost Gardens of Heligan. It's a simply beautiful place and I visited on one of the gloomiest days weather wise of this year. It really had the WOW factor for me. So much so that I would travel to Cornwall again just to make another visit to this very special place.

“So much better then we expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Absolutely fantastic day out, gardens were beautiful, very peaceful even on a hot day in July. Had Sunday lunch in the on site restaurant and the home reared roast lamb (with all the trimmings) was to die for. Just a tip,if you are visiting here and the Eden project buy a linked entrance ticket as it will save you some money. Hope to be back again soon
