“Disappointed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

Unless you were staying on the caravan park, you could only access this private beach for a few yards at the end near the village of Portpean. It looked clean and sandy. but when the tide is in, and there are heavy seas, there is no point in the public traying to access it at all.

The beach is not private and there aren't many beaches in Cornwall that the tide isn't high in stormy weather and high tides. Not sure what campsite your talking about but there isn't one nearby. Most of the time there is a large sandy beach, rock pools and loads to do.

“Spacious sandy beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013

Wide expanse of sand but still rocks and rock pools on either side and a large freshwater stream running to the sea on one side. Short walk from the village car park which is handy for the pub.

This house is a must, i love the whole experience, each and every room so much to see. The room with that ceilling, make time to check the card against the carvings. This is a home local people and visiters to the county will enjoy.
