“Beautiful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

We stayed at the hotel back in September and it was a quick decision so we hadn't thought about what t expect. It was lovely! We were in one of the separate buidlings at the very top of the hill and it was very private and we felt extremely spoilt. The dinner was very nice, as was the breakfast but really it is the setting that makes this hotel. My only criticism was the slight lack of attention to detail i.e. we had no toilet roll and the milk in the fridge was off. Both easily rectified but a little disappointing on arrival. Despite this I would recommend this hotel - and have done so to friends and family!

This is a beautiful small boutique hotel run by very nice, friendly people who really care about whether or not you have an enjoyable stay. We stayed in Agatha Cottage which was charming, comfortable and well appointed. It was lovely to have the extra space, with a cosy lounge and fully equipped kitchen. We had booked for 3 nights but loved it so much that we booked for an extra night. The restaurant was superb - we ate there 3 out of the 4 nights - really high class, fine dinning at a very reasonable, set menu price of £25 for 3 courses - fantastic value for money! And so ideally situated for visiting The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens, Charlestown etc. etc. etc. All in all - superb!

Room Tip: Agatha cottage is in the grounds, a couple of minutes walk to the main hotel. Perfect if you want a...

We stayed two nights in Agatha in November 2013. WE were given a very warm welcome with tea and cake and were then shown to our room. It was so romantic and luxurious. We enjoyed every second. The food in the restaurant is first class and braekfasts are a joy. We used the swimming pool and the hot tub. we felt so lucky that we were not disturbed by others and they think of everything - complemetary towels in the pool and flip flops in your room
You can walk through the woods and which is a delight and there are complementary wellies if its wet
Amazing thank you Boscundle we will return

Room Tip: Agatha is magnificent

We stayed for 1 night on a tour of the West Country. We chose this hotel based upon Trip Advisor reviews and because it suited our plans being very close to the Eden Project. Our room was in the main building which is the best place to be rather than in one of the buildings in the grounds. It was very clean and well appointed. The meal we had in the restaurant was something close to Michelin Star quality. I have no hesitation recommending it.

Room Tip: Rooms in the main building are best or you may have to walk back after dinner through dark gardens i...

I was given a voucher for a facial (my first ever) so cannot comment on any other aspect of Boscundle Manor, except to say that the grounds and building are wonderful, and the staff I met fantastic - so welcoming and friendly !
Vicky, who did my facial is a star, and not only very good at her job but also a lovely warm bubbly person who made me feel so special. It was a real treat for me and I'll go back for another as soon as I can afford it.

The hotel looked lovely on the pictures we had seen and was no different when we arrived ! Beautiful grounds and it was the same all the way through ! It was very warm and cosy and all the staff were helpful regardless of their role! We were made to feel at home , the room we stayed in was lovely 'Anne room' and the swimming pool and hot tub were amazing ! Was so relaxing to sit under the stars on a freezing cold night in a beautiful warm hot tub ! Very impressed and would defiantly recommend to others
