“Garden of Eden...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

Kathryn was such a friendly host that it made our one night stay very special. She went to the trouble of including an extra bed in the family room for our son, and there was still plenty of room. I had some difficulty accessing WiFi in the house (by the window seemed best). The location was ideal for getting to the Eden Project and because we walked, the kids received free entry and adults had a discount of 3 or 4 pounds. We did not get a chance to meet the elusive badgers, but saw a squirrel, a couple of cats and a baby hawk. We also had the use of a lounge. It is refreshing to stay with such an enthusiastic and welcoming host. It felt like we were staying with family!

Room Tip: Family room had heaps of space.

Many thanks to Anne for making our stay so memorable. The B&B is spotless, with homely and warm decor and furnishings. Lovely big room and a great view. Breakfast was delicious and included Anne's homemade jams which hit the spot! Just a short walk to the Eden Project and would recommend this place over the bigger chain hotels all day long. As someone mentioned before, if you like horses there is a resident one in the field next to the garden who is partial to a few carrots!

A wonderful B&B with a friendly and knowledgeable host. She went out of her way to give us information about the area and to help us get our bearings. Short walk to the Eden project and not far from Par and St Austell either. Great view out the back and a horse you can feed carrots to if you're lucky! Rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was good as well.

Had a really lovely stay at Treberthan just this weekend. Friendly, helpful, chatty, knowledgeable host, and the B&B is only 10 minutes walk away from the Eden Centre. The view from the back of the B&B is absolutely gorgeous (rolling green hills and a few cows in the far distance). Room was really comfortable, breakfast was scrummy, and the whole place very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Treberthan has a most friendly atmosphere sitting in a lovely tranquil setting. Anne is so helpful and accommodating and her breakfasts using homemade and locally sourced foods are awesome. I would strongly recommend a stay at Treberthan if visiting Heligan or The Eden Project (10 minutes walk which attracts swallers discounted entrance charge).
The accommodation is extremely clean and welcoming and there is ample private parking with far reaching views across the valley with an abundance of wildlife visible. I cannot speak more highly of this most friendly accommodation.

everything is perfect about Treberthan B&B! the welcoming and caring hostess Kathryn, the beautiful, very comfortable, well furnished and positioned room, the surrounding country landscapes, the convenience of getting to the Eden Project (a five minute walk), the convenience of buses to Charlestown (must go to!), and breakfast - unbelievable breakfast - created with care - so delicious - and the presentation of everything, including the room, sign in and the breakfast dining room table, decorated with such fine china! Kathryn is truly kind and accommodating! We highly recommend Treberthan B&B - very good value for money! Thank you Kathryn - Sandy and David

Room Tip: Kathryn showed us all of the rooms - they are all beautiful! (and they all have ensuites)
