Had been meaning to visit Trevalsa court for a long time but it was just one of those things I never got round to doing.
Having spent the day in Truro, we returned to Mevagissey and saw the signs for Cream Teas at Trevalsa Court and made the spur of the moment decission to spoil ourselves.
We parked up and strolled into the hotel, it was so quiet that we wondered if we could get any tea, and then we were greeted by a lady who appeared out of an office which i assume was reception. We ordered 2 Cream Teas and some sandwiches and then wondered through to the gardens at the rear. There were stunning views out across St Austell Bay and the gardens were so relaxing to spend time in.
Cream Teas arrived as did the sandwiches in about 10 minutes, as mentioned in a previous review the tea was "proper" tea and the fruit scones excellent. We would have stayed for longer but the wasps took a fancy to what was left of our jam.
This is one of those places that you expect to pay a little more for the cream tea due to the surroundings but to be honest the cream tea was excellent value and you get wonderfull views in a tranquil setting.
Having visited once, it wont be long before we return for another tea or maybe an evening meal.
