“Much more interesting then I expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

I enjoyed this far more then I expected. It was an excellent place to go when it was a bit too chilly for a walk. It was much bigger then I thought and took us at least three hours to walk round. Unless you are particularly interested in ships some of the exhibits are a bit same ish after awhile but I found the exhibits on the Mary Rose and Titanic very interesting. The car park next to the centre is cheaper then the main one and I would recommend sturdy shoes for exploring the mining caves as when we went they were very wet.

“Interesting place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

We really enjoyed our visit to Charlestown, the shipwreck centre was very interesting with lots of accessible displays for the children, and things for them to touch and explore. Our children were 4 and 6 the the time of our visit and they really enjoyed it.
We also stayed for lunch afterwards, the service was very good and the food was great and really reasonable.

“Always an interesting place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Apart from the weather it is good to blow away the cobwebs which tend to have built up this winter.
Wrap up and go see.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Full of artefacts and information on Cornish seafaring history. A lovely place to visit. Bosuns Diner is above the museum and good value for money serving hot meals and afternoon teas.
