“Another Fantastic Stay At The St. Enodoc Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Exceptional service and attention to detail well beyond expectations. They even helped us secure a delivery of mussels and oysters from their local suppliers and added it to our bill at a very reasonable price.

Whenever we stay at the St. Enodoc Hotel we are made to feel very welcome and very special. The Staff pay special attention to everyone and seem to recall every little detail of our previous visits. It’s like we are part of the family and we are made to feel that way as well.

Lovely place to stay even if only for one night. Can’t wait to stay there once again in the near future.

Richard

The St.Enodoc Hotel is located in the beautiful village of Rock - opposite the water from Padstow. This means the hotel boasts beautiful views across the clear blue Cornish waters.

Upon arrival we were greated by friendly and attentive reception staff (this is true to be said of all the hotel staff) - who promptly check us in and showed us to our room. First impressions were great - a good sized, light room, tastefully decorated with amazing views and with basic amenities one would expect (TV, Tea/Coffee, Water etc). The bathroom was slightly dated and did not match the high standard finish of the other areas of the room and indeed the hotel as a whole.

The overall feel of the hotel was good - especially the reception seating area. However the corridors and staircases seemed tired.

I feel the room was slightly over priced at £130 per night - the room just needed that extra something.

The hotel is beautifully situated in a quiet location, enjoying wonderful sea views. We stayed on a DB&B basis in a nicely furnished room with all the facilities one might expect. The rate included dinner to th value of £45 in The Grill. Good food, simpl prepared an nicely served. That said two drinks each before dinner, one bottle of wine, one coffee and two ourses each cam to £170. That's pretty outrageous, particularly as we weren't even eating in the restaurant-proper. However, overall a really nice experience.

We stayed at st enodocs on the 18th and 19th of October.

First impressions when greeted by reception where fantastic, you were made so welcome.
We arrived early and had arranged to meet friends who were also staying there. Nothing was a problem we were given teas and coffees and told to make use of any of the public lounges.
The rooms where wonderful and had the most beautiful views across to Padstow.
Apart from being a fantastic place to stay and Nathan out laws a real bonus on top, without a doubt the staff make the experience .Such a helpful young crowd from bar to reception and waiting staff .Can’t wait to go back.

This is a super hotel with lots of attention having been given to contemporary decor. The service was first class, I asked at reception if I could change to non feather pillows and by the time we had climbed the two flights of stairs to our room someone was doing it!

The bedroom was very comfortable with generous tea and coffee suplies and locally made upmarket toiletries suplied.

All in all we loved it and hope to go back next spring........

Room Tip: It should be noted that there isn't a lift, so if you have difficulty with stairs ask to be on t...

Exceptional. Stayed for three nights in October on the 3 for 2 offer.

Spacious room, good views across the camel River estuary. Excellent service from reception and waiting staff. Supper breakfasts. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Room Tip: As rock is hilly and hotel does not appear to have any lift or ground floor rooms access may not be...

What a lovely place for four of us to share lunch. This is our second visit and did not disappoint. The staff were lovely, friendly, efficient, unobtrusive, yet knowledgeable. Beautiful views across the River Camel for drinks and the food of course was sublime. Mine was mackerel but hey it was all wonderful.
This has got to be be one of our favourite restaurants.
Go for it

Room Tip: Did not stay but certainly worth considering
