“not ruling the waves”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Were totally ignored for about ten minutes while the bar staff chatted, eventually got a table, food not bad , nothing to rave about, unfortunately the lady that served kept swearing, which wasnt nice.

“Trying to be a restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

We dined here for my birthday. It was a busy Saturday night.

The food is a little pricey but, on the whole, good

The major problem was that as it was a Saturday, a band was playing in the Adjoining bar which ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant.

This was make a great restaurant if only they could devise the two venues better or get the band to play quieter

“Good pub grub!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

We ate on two consecutive nights. On both nights we received good service especially from Lee. The food came out piping hot and plentiful. I'm not usually a chip fan but we had the most delicious chips on our first evening. I have to say as well as it was easy to eat there I was looking forward to eating some more of the delicious chips that I had eaten the previous evening. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed when our food came as the chips were not the same or as nice! The rest of the food was just as good. On both evening I had intended to have a pudding but on both nights I couldn't manage one!
