My lasting impression of the Project was one of having been 'ripped off'. Nearly £50 for two people is probably twice what it is actually worth. Yes the Tropical biome was very good, albeit the labeling of exhibits was generally poor and ambiguous, but the Mediterranean biome lacked content and just seemed to struggle to present any coherent message. The Core was a waste of time, and dare I say money. I know the Project will say that the entry fee gives a year's access, but as they must well know this is a hollow advantage to the majority of visitors from outside the region. They could easily offer single and multi-visit tickets. I understand that the Project says that it is a charity, but it certainly makes no real attempt to communicate what it actually does. I just feel annoyed that I've been taken in by the hype and left feeling unnecessarily conned, I can't recollect ever feeling like this previously. My advice - consider long and hard if you really want to pay this sort of money for so little real content.
