The service at this hotel was the best I have ever experienced and the food is fabulous. Stay in the deluxe room with sea view, wow is all i can say you won't be disappointed. When you sit outside you can hear the waves it's amazing. I will definitely be back and will be telling all my friends to visit.

We stayed for a 3 night break here. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The staff very helpful without being obtrusive. The views of the cliffs and the sea are stunning.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the service and food were very good.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing break.

We are a young proffessional couple and would choose this hotel for a quiet getaway every time! It may be out on a limb, but the trip is worth it. Living in Cornwall, we rarely get the chance to go to the lizard, but when we do, we end up here.

Visiting originally in Feb we spent our valentines here and felt truly spoilt, they are dog friendly here, with a seperate lounge for guests with dogs, we get a doggie welcome pack which includes treats and waste bags and lets you know where you can take your dog in the area, this is a lovely addition.

The food here is incredible, we love eating out and this rivals some of the very best restaurants we have visited (From Padstow so we have a good choice of places to eat!)

The rooms here are dated, but I love this and feel it adds to the charm, the location is amazing and you can't fault the staff.

Will be coming again and again!

My husband and I stayed at the Mullion Cove in September 2012. We rated it as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The setting is stunning, the views from our room outstanding as well as the room itself, the food was interesting and delicious and the staff were so friendly, courteous, and helpful often with humour. There was fresh fruit or home-made biscuits put in our room every day. The staff were always willing to help with advice with walks and how best to do them including booking us a taxi or telling us bus times which ever was most appropriate.

Room Tip: Premier room with sea view was superb

This Hotel strikes you as being outstanding from the beautiful drive up to the top of the cliff and in to the spacious car park, the Hotel grounds are very well kept.
We just stayed 1 night in December as we were delivering furniture for a client of ours in the area,we googled a dog friendly Hotel and The Mullion came up first, and I am not surprised as it is 1st class.
All the staff are very courteous and made a fuss of our two dogs. On arrival you get a doggy pack, with maps of beaches, walks etc, unfortunately we were not staying long enough to make use of that but a nice touch anyway.
We had a double Seaview room, the room was lovely, a little pricey we thought at first for the size until we noticed the little extras, underfloor heating in the large bathroom, mirrors that dont steam up, and the view out to sea was fab.
We had an evening meal in the restaurant, the food was very good, although I am abit fussy with food and I didnt think there was a great choice on the menu, mostly fish. The bar meals had alot more choice. The breakfast was amazing and had loads of choice.
Across from the Hotel is a steep footpath down to the little Harbour which was great for the dogs, you can walk down the road to the Harbour, but to say it is a private road up to the Hotel beware,as people drive up there at quite a speed.
When we got home we realised we had left our Phone Charger in the room, we contacted the Hotel and after a few days it turned up, and it was posted straight out to us, which was very nice of the staff there to do that, thank you.

Room Tip: Sea view definitely

Went yesterday for lunch and was very pleased. At last I seem to have found a restaurant that has the standards that we should all expect when parting with our cash. The whole place was spotless and the decor very tasteful. The food was very good ,took a little while to get but this due to being freshly cooked I presume. My draught beer didn't quite taste right (off taste?.) but was replaced for a bottle without fuss. I would recommend to any one. Keep up the good work.! Way better than most places I have been to in the last year!

We booked the Mullion Cove for our wedding reception as my wife's family had been regular visitors over the years and now lived locally.
We were not disappointed and the whole weekend went off seamlessly thanks to a huge effort from the hotel team headed by Chris, Lee & Sarah, the sun even shone at the right moments!
The lunch before the ceremony in Helston, the champagne reception, the dinner and fireworks later were perfect and all our guests said how they enjoyed it.
We had a perfect day and we will be back for another visit soon!
Special thanks to (Chef) Lee for the food, (Food & Bev manager) Lee for the service and (Reception) Sarah for the planning and organization.
Well done everyone and you deserve the "Best small hotel" award!

Room Tip: Chose a premier sea view room if your budget allows!
