My boyfriend and i was looking for a little lodge out in the country for a valentines break and saw this come up on hoeseasons. We did worry about the distance as we are from kent and this is around 5 hours away by car but we took a chance and are so pleased we did!!!

We arrived on Friday 14th of Feb and despite the long drive there and feeling tired and zapped we was welcomed by a very friendly lady who gave us our key quickly and kindly with no fuss and ran through a few things. we then parked our car and made our way to the lodge.

Once entering our lodge we were suprised on how lovely it was. Beautiful rooms all beautifully decorated. We also had a fresh loaf of locally home made bread, a box of mullion lodge chocolates, a large bottle of water, various teas, hot chocolate, cafetiere coffee, dressing gowns, slippers and a box of white company toiletries. There was a lovely fireplace, games, a Nintendo wii, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, grill, hob, microwave and everything we could ever need. The hot tub was lovely very clean and warm we used it every day we where here.

The location was ok but you do need a vehicle to get from a to b but we found some beautiful coves at the Lizard point and despite the weather was still so beautiful. We also visited the chocolate factory just up from the lodge which had lovely fudges, jams, shortbread and of corse chocolate!! We visited penzance which wasnt really for us but there were lots of restraunts and bars for people who like that kind of scene. We also visited porthleven fishermans village which was quaint and small a few gift shops here and a pub restraunt or two. We then went on to falmouth which we loved there are some lovely fudge, pasty, fish and chip, independent home produce shops here and is farley large well worth going to.

We had the most lovely laid back and fantastic time on our short break here as we only stayed for 3 nights but wished we had booked longer. We will definitely return next year summer!!! Very friendly, pretty and relaxed place! Really enjoed it!

Thanks you so much for such a fantastic review. We're thrilled you enjoyed staying with us and we look forward to seeing you again in the summer. We're sure fellow guests and travellers will benefit from your detailed review of local attractions - Cornwall really has so much to offer holiday makers and day trippers. Kind Regards and thanks once again.

Stayed at Mullion Cove Mon 10th-Fri 14th Feb. What a wonderful break. First class lodges all finished to a high spec and a welcome of fresh bread, milk, tea and coffee etc was a great added touch. They really do think of everything. Hot tub and the Nintendo Wii were great features especially on cold rainy days. Had a great time and looking forward to coming back in a few months. Really made our holiday special already told so many friends and family how great it was. Lady on reception was really lovely and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for a great holiday

Myself and a group of friends have just returned from a weekend in a 4 Bedroom Gwithian Premier Lodge (Number 20) with hot-tub. For several years we have gone away for a 'hot-tub weekend' in either January or February, and Mullion Cove Lodges is by far the best accommodation that we have stayed in. Supremely comfortable and spacious, with everything provided to a high-spec standard. Really comfortable sofas and chairs in the lounge area, along with Flat Screen TV, DVD player, Wii console and iPod dock. Full size dining table for 8 (board games in the hall cupboard!), fantastic fitted kitchen with full-size integrated fridge/freezer, fan oven and gas hob, microwave, integrated dishwasher and integrated washing machine/tumble dryer - as well as all the crockery, cutlery and utensils you could think of - as noted in other reviews, they provide a welcome pack of bread, milk, teas and coffee etc which even includes dishcloths and dishwasher tablets - they really have thought of everything. There are 4 bedrooms (all with Flatscreen TV). The master double has an ensuite shower room and iPod docking station, another double (with Jack and Jill door to the family bathroom) and two further twin bedrooms. Wardrobes, bedside chests and bedside lamps in all rooms. Lovely white bed linen and huge, fluffy white towels with bathrobes and slippers in the double rooms. The beds really are incredibly comfortable with gorgeous mattress toppers - the only bed that I have ever slept in which was more comfortable was in The Bellagio at Las Vegas! Large verandah with table and chairs and of course the ultimate luxury - a sunken hot-tub. One of my friends thought it would be hilarious to add some bubbles to the hot tub with a squirt of Fairy liquid.... After a couple of hours of scraping foam off of the surface he decided to confess to Reception - the lady was absolutely lovely about this and arranged for a man to come and empty the hot-tub and refill it again - thank you again for this :o) The park is very pretty, quiet and secure, and although the hot-tubs do have opaque panels around them, the lodges are quite close together, so don't expect total seclusion. That being said, the park will be quiet as there is no pub/clubhouse to worry about - not that sort of holiday at all thankfully. Really easy to get all over the area by car and the local village of Mullion has a handful of shops and pubs when needed. (You will pass both Tesco and Sainsbury's in Helston (about 10 miles away) on your way for the big shop). No mobile phone signal at all, but free wi-fi in each lodge which is a real bonus. The only suggestions I would have (and these are not negative points) are that the bedrooms and family bathroom could do with hooks for the bathrobes, and both bathrooms could do with a shaving/electric toothbrush point. Our lodge for 8 people only had 1 allocated parking space immediately in front, but the lovely lady on Reception assured me that there are other spaces in the parked marked V for Visitor that we could use if needed, as well as a free car park across the road if the park was really busy. We really enjoyed our weekend away and cannot wait to book again for next winter.

Room Tip: Go for a Lodge with hot-tub - it really is worth the extra few £££s

We travelled for 4 nights 30 December 2013 - 3 January, with friends made up of; two families of 2 adults and one child each. Everything about Mullion Cove Lodge Park is excellent, we cannot fault one single thing. It totally made our New Year the best ever. You really don't need to look any further to book your holiday. The lodge was fully equipped and more! It was immaculate and in a location that is stunningly beautiful. Plenty of places to visit by car or on foot and plenty of high quality restaurants to choose from in the surrounding areas (not too far to drive). Don't forget to pay a visit to and support the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, they do really fantastic work. We knew we were in for a really special break when we drove through Mullion village with all their Christmas lights on, everyone makes such an effort which sums up our new year break really. Well done to the park team for making us feel so welcome by supplying us with; fresh bread, scrummy chocolates, milk, bottled water, various flavoured teas/drinks and even bin bags and dishwasher tablets! The attention to detail is 100%. The hot tub was a complete luxury and we are really missing it! Well done guys and thank you, see you all again next year as we wouldn't dream of booking anywhere different and thank you for posting back our daughters mobile phone that she left under her pillow :)

Room Tip: Book a lodge with a hot tub - treat yourself.

We are so glad you had a fantastic new year with us. mullion is lovely at this time of year even if a little wet and cold. Posting the phone back was a pleasure. The villagers do try to put on loads for the visitors and many events are planned throughout the year. Our favourite is the scarecrow festival in August. Hope to see you all again soon.

A group of 8 of us, both men and women went here for a NY break. It was fantastic, the lodge itself is beautiful, you couldn't ask for more as many essential amenities are supplied for you! All the rooms are nicely designed but the 2 twins do not have mirrors in, which for the women was a bit of a pain. I speak for all of us when I say the beds are so comfortable we all had a brilliant sleep!

There is a flat screen TV in the living room and all bedrooms, there is an iPhone 5 docking station which came in very handy when dancing the NY in. They even include a wii with 2 games and 2 board games. One of the only problems was due to the area none of us had signal on our mobile phones, however, you do have wifi which is unlimited. The staff were very friendly and all you need to do is ask and they will help you, they helped us to book taxis for NY and gave us extra bin bags.

The area itself is gorgeous, there are many walks around, all with public footpaths. The views are stunning, flawless coastline! We also visited the chocolate factory which did delicious food & drinks!

The whole trip was amazing value for money, couldn't of asked for more!

Room Tip: There are two double rooms one with an ensuite and two twin rooms.

So glad you had a great New year with us. We dont have facilities on the site, but we make sure the lodges are furnished to a high degree to make the most relaxing holiday possible. The walks are stunning in this area. The town of Mullion has most of what is needed for your stay and the chocolate factory is well worth a look also. Hope to see you all again soon.

We stayed in Lodge 1 for a New Years break. The standard of accommodation was faultless. Every possible consideration has been thought of inside the lodge and they provide every thing you could need.

I would highly recommend a stay at Mullion Cove. It was the best, most relaxing break over New Year I could have hoped for.

Thanks to Damon on reception who was exceptionally helpful and jolly.
