“Very relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We had a very relaxing 1 night stay over August Bank Holiday. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and are working hard to update the hotel. The lounge, bar and decking area are lovely and tastefully decorated. The room was very clean, straightforward but with good touches like complimentary water and quality toiletries. Breakfast was lovely. As our daughter was playing with our owners daughter in the lounge, they even kept her stocked up with snacks and juice for no charge. Views are amazing from the hotel and for the price this was a fantastic hotel. We would stay again.

Had the most lovely stay. The views were amazing and Nikki and her partner were brilliant even picking up my wife after dinner as she was very tiried. It was only a 5 to 10 min walk into the harbour. Breakfast was fantastic as I had discussed the day before that I prefer tin tomatoes and I like tea in mug and in the morning they were both there. I will defiantly be going back and I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Get sea views it will not disappoint

A superb hotel!
We stayed for 2 nights (wish it was longer) with our 7yr old son. Nikki was great made us feel very welcome, the room was super, comfy beds, clean and a great selection in the tea making facility in room. We had a sea view and our own small court yard which was lovely. The breakfast was superb, a wide selection of delicious food to choose from. It seemed nothing was to much trouble and made our short stay so much more rememberable. We will deffinatly go back when in the area and recomend to all.
Thanks nikki

I stayed at this hotel recently now that it is under new ownership and management. What a difference! The old place was gloomy and the management were awful and everything was too much trouble. The bedrooms and public rooms have all been refurbished and they are planning to do the bathrooms next year. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea. The view is so lovely I struggled to get out of bed. I am glad I did though as the breakfast was superb. Didn't stop me having a cream tea on the decking later though!!!

I will certainly return and would recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: Room 1 has panoramic sea views
