“Friendly & Welcoming B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

My husband and I stayed for just 1 night and would definitely return. The owners are very friendly. Our room was clean, very comfortable, beautifully decorated with a lovely view of Mevagissey. Breakfast in the morning was really enjoyable with a great choice. What was really nice was that the owners made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Can't fault this B&B. Will come again. Price was excellent for a well presented and spotless room. Breakfast was very good and the hosts accommodating and friendly.
It's a very short walk to the village (2 mins) so all in all spot on for for money.

My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend in Mevagissey, having stayed at the WONDERFUL Tregorran Guest House. We love Mevagissey and have stayed there before several times, and have previously tried to book 'Tregorran' but they were fully booked, but thankfully this time we were lucky and we were not disappointed in anyway! Firstly I must mention Helen and Danny, they were without doubt the best hosts 'ever!!!' So very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast was delicous, with a good selection to choose from. Their guest house is immaculate and very tastfully decorated, and has lovely views over Mevagissey. A 'HUGE' bonus when staying at 'Tregorran' is that it has parking for several cars, accommodation with parking can be difficult to find in Mevagissey!!! And with the guesthouse only around 3 minutes walk from the centre of the village, just park up and forget it without 'worrying' about renewing the parking ticket!!!
MANY THANKS Helen and Danny for a WONDERFUL stay in your beautiful home and making our Special Anniversary weekend that extra special!!! We look forward to seeing you both again in the not too distant future!!!:)

We stayed for a Saturday night in late March 13' and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was a double en suite, immaculately clean and well thought out, with very good attention to detail. A very nice and friendly couple, offering a thoroughly professional service, the breakfast was excellent too, with a good selection of options both hot and cold. Centrally located with a short, if steep, walk to the lovely harbour with its good selection of pubs and restaurants. All in all, highly recommended, we'll come again!

I stayed here back in October '12 and had an excellent time. I sometimes find, when travelling alone, that many B&Bs are more geared-up and comfortable with couples, but Danny and Helen were very accommodating and understanding of the sensitivities and slightly different needs of a single person.

The room, and indeed the breakfast room and terrace, provided a lovely view across Mevagissey, which for me is a big bonus.

Location-wise, Mevagissey and Tregorran itself was a good base. I arrived by train, rather than by car and was easily able to get around by foot, bus and boat. The bus from St Austell drops you within a one/two minute walk of the guest-house.

I'd thoroughly recommend.

Tregorran is an excellently maintained modern split level house situated only a few minutes walk from the lovely fishing village and doubled harbour of mevagissey. It boast a high standard of accommodation: breakfasts are a joy to eat in the dining room with has lovely views across the village. The south facing sun deck is particularly enjoyable addition, Danny and Helen will ensure a warm and friendly stay in a very relaxing environment. If you've not been to the village before a treat is in store or if you have visited before tregorran will make a return very special

We stayed 2 nights at the Tregorran Guest House, a lovely little B&B a short walk from Mevagissey Harbour. The guest house is in a great location from which to explore all the delights Cornwall has to offer. The owners of the guest house, Danny and Helen, provided the perfect environment for a relaxing couple of days in this gorgeous part of the country. Our room was lovely and clean with breath taking views over looking Mevagissey. We would highly recommend this little gem of a guest house and we would definitely stay there again.
