We found this baby friendly accommodation through child friendly bolt holes (recommended through nct) this was our first holiday away with our 8 month old son.
We stayed here from may 10th-13th , unfortunately not the best weekend weather wise which is a real shame but typical of the uk , it's the risk you take and we are not quite brave enough to go abroad just yet.
However we really couldn't find fault with these fab Eco cottages, we booked Constantine (the baby friendly cottage) which is well equipped with everything you need travel cot, baby bath, monitor steriliser etc etc we still managed to pack too much stuff which seems to be what happens when you have a baby .
The location is rural stunning views horses , geese and chickens in the fields and extremely quiet, the log burner is fab ,didn't think we would need it in may but we did.
You definitely need a car to get everywhere when the weathers bad, we attempted the walk to the beach but the hill down is extremely steep and we didn't bring the correct footwear for hiking.
The owners kindly left tea, coffee biscuits ,free range eggs and Milk which was a lovely touch.
The take away menus for the first day of arrival is a good idea , however we rang the Chinese who unfortunately couldn't deliver that evening, and the pantry with some lovely looking food on there website as advertised by merlin farm are no longer in business, the last option the Thai , where a husband and wife cook from home and then deliver free of charge was fab the food was lovely and was just what we needed , the next day however we stocked up on essentials from the local supermarket. Choices for eating out with an infant can be limited so from ourvexperience in padstow there is a pub called the old ship child friendly , and on Sunday Jamie Oliver's fifteen at watergate bay take kids and was a fab dining experience with amazing views, I'd imagine in good weather it would be lovely .
The cottage is very high end appliances modern design spacious and a great living accommodation for a family , bi fold doors opening into stunning views.
The farm is designed with environmental issues in mind recycling stations for when you leave to put glass plastic etc in the correct boxes, hot water provided by solar energy etc which is highly commendable ,
I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone whether it be dog walkers, families or anyone wishing to stay in an amazing location , there is nothing this accommodation has forgotten to provide just a shame we couldn't pre order the sunshine ..
Many thanks to Darrel and Lucy especially for making the accommodation ready slightly earlier after our long journey
Constantine for families

Thank you for your review and great tips for future guests ! Glad you enjoyed your stay in Constantine Eco Cottage. Shame about the Pantry meal delivery service closing, I have since amended our website and will endeavour to find another service for our guests. The local Thai 'Baan Waan' are a big hit with our guests ! Take care and hope to welcome you back in the future ! Lucy & Darrel
