“Adequate”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Looking for a nearby National Trust property we happened across this pub. It filled the gap, was nothing special, was pushing the (popular) carvery on a Sunday. The staff endearingly admitted they were inexperienced and tried hard.

“Shame there was no kids menu”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

Lovely meal, just a same there wasn't a kids menu - and nothing you could ask for smaller for children (half rack of ribs?)

Really pleasant staff too.

“Eating Out”

On the night we visited they were having a 21st birthday so we only went to the restaurant and I must say the food was very good and reasonable.
