Whilst we enjoyed a pleasant meal, we were disappointed that when we asked for extra bread for our shared starter which was a variety of pesto plus garlic bread ( the bread to pesto ratio was not quite there ) we were presented with 3 slices of the cheapest supermarket sliced white bread as opposed to a few slices of French bread which we were expecting. Never seen that in a restaurant before.
Also, two of our party wanted Arrabiata pasta but was told it would be with Linguine not Penne pasta. When we questioned this we were told they would go to the Coop and buy some if we really wanted that sort of pasta, but got the impression that we were being picky.
This may seem picky, but we are normally pretty laid back and this seemed all a bit strange and did spoil the meal. And there were other issues that I haven't mentioned.
