“Paradise !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

We have just returned from our second visit to Hendrifton Farm and yet again, it was perfect. From the minute you arrive, to an amazing cream tea, to the minute you leave, you feel well and truly at home and looked after.
Our first visit last July was spent in the B&B which was superb in every way , but this year we stayed in Field View cottage for a week and it was great , so peaceful .
Mel , Gareth and little Max are absolutely fantastic and we left there yesterday feeling as if we were leaving friends !! Don't hesitate to go, in 40 years of holidays with my husband Hendrifton Farm is the only one we have gone back to twice, it's just perfect x

This is our second trip to Hendrifton Farm and as before Gareth, Mel and Max were very warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Granary Cottage whilst our friends stayed in Field View Cottage. The cottages are fantastic and cater to your every need. We took our dog Alfie with us and what's great is the totally dog-proof field at the back of the cottages where they can have a good run around. Hendrifton Farm is in a great location to explore Bodmin Moor whilst only being approximately 30 minutes from the coast. We will definitely be going back again next year and are already looking forward to it.

We visited Hendrifton Farm about 6 years ago and stayed in Granary Cottage and we had a fantastic stay. As we loved staying at Hendrifton Farm we again decided to go back there. Mel and Gareth made us very welcome. The cottage is absolutely perfect to go back to after a day of hustle and bustle in the surrounding visitor attractions to the lovely peace and quiet and Hendrifton Farm. It is centrally based and not far from any of the coasts that you decide to visit. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed with Gareth and Mel for the May bank holiday weekend with my 8 year old son and two airedales, in the Granary cottage which was perfect for us and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic time and I can really recommend Hendrifton Farm, its in a prime location with beautiful countryside on it's doorstep. Mel makes breakfasts to die for so if you do go make sure you have one!

We spent a lovely few days with family, friends and Pepper the dog occupying both cottages and the bed and breakfast accommodation. A brilliant place to stay no matter what size group you are. Mel and Gareth make your stay very pleasant. The accommodation is in easy reach of a lot of amenities from walking on the moors to beaches on both coastlines. We shall defiantly be going back, and would recommend it as a perfect location for any ones holiday.

We stayed with the mother in law, daughter and dog and it was an excellent base to visit the sites of Cornwall. We were welcomed with a lovely home made cream tea and the owners are very friendly. Cottage is warm and comfortable and well equiped and very quiet. Plenty of dog walks nearby and the Goliatha Falls is a particularly nice one.

We hired out both cottages and the B and B so family and friends could spend the Easter Week together. As soon as we arrived we received a cream tea with home made scones, jam and clotted cream! Mel is a great cook! - our trip to Cornwall had well and truly started!
We were asked if we would all like to have breakfast in the farmhouse together on our first morning which was a lot of extra mouths to feed (8 in total!) but Gareth and Mel coped brilliantly and it was delicious.
It was also great for our dogs as they have a field at the back of the cottages for them to play, with stock fencing and two dog loos.
They gave very good indications for places to visit and also made excellent restaurant recommendations.
We will definitely be returning soon.
I shall be recommending them to all my friends
