“Lovely Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Very comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with friendly and welcoming owners. Ideally situated for coastal footpath and all the usual great beaches and attractions on the Lizard. Well worth a try if you are travelling in the area. The owners are rightly very proud of the buildings unusual history - ask them.

On our car-free South West Coast Path hike we stayed for two nights at Gail's and Phil's place. They welcomed us very heartily and always had time to talk and to give us information about the area. After serving us a delicious breakfast, Phil and Gail drove us to the starting point of our walks. A place not to miss and to come back!

We rented the apartment for a week and had a fantastic time, Gail and Phil were just amazing, nothing was too much hassle. We went last year and stayed in the B&B for 2 nights but decided this year to go for a week with our 8 month old little boy and had a great holiday. It was so relaxing, the apartment was perfect. Some friends came down towards the end of the week we were there which was brilliant that we could all be together. We are definitely going back next year for a stay.

Gail and Phil just make you feel like part of their family which is lovely. We stayed an extra night in the B&B and the breakfasts were still amazing,

Thanks again for a lovely holiday.

After searching the web for ages we came across the kennack bay house which had a self catering apartment. We wanted to visit many places whilst on holiday but didn't want to clock watch etc. The apartment was spacious, clean and superbly equipped and with our own entrance gave us all the freedom we wanted. It is a great location for walking but close to more hidden gems like cadgwith and kynance cove. A bus also stops outside. We spent a day on kennack sands which was amazing. We are already planning our return! The owners were most helpful and we didn't hear any of the other guests.

Room Tip: The location is superb with sea views

I can only agree with previous reviews, such a nice place.
Modern rooms with charm and the land-lord/lady = such a nice couple.
Tipped us about seals watching and when we left early they helped us jumpstart our car and all with the same warm friendliness.

The rooms where light warm and clean. We stayed for a week with our dog and we just felt it was the best cottage ever.

Close to Kennack sands - 7 minutes there and 15 home ( home is up-hill)

And as a base for exploring the rest of the area it perfect - was easy to reach anything.

Thank you Gail and Phil, we loved the stay - and again sorry we had to get you out so early to help with the car.

Room Tip: Litsen to the land lord/lady if they give you a tip - they really know what they are talking about...

there were 6 of us staying here for a friends weeding in September (21.09-23.09.12), we had an amazing time, Gail and Phil were so friendly and there was nothing that was too much hassel for them, they made us feel like part of the family. The breakfasts' were amazing with such variety, rooms were fantastic with amazing views, beautifully decorated with very comfy beds. We will defiantely go back there and hopefully longer than 2 nights as it went so quick.

6 of us stayed this weekend (21.09.12-23.09.12) for our friend's wedding in the local area. The welcome extended to us by Phil and Gail was so very warm and welcoming.

The house was beautiful, the rooms beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The views from the rooms were breathtaking over fields to the sea.

The breakfast was wonderful, a fabulous variety of choice, a perfect start to a fun filled day.

Gail and Phil were wonderfully warm, taking time to chat with us and play cars with our friend's 19 month old, who loved it.

Two nights went so quickly, I didn't want to come home. I would definately go back.

Thank you Gail and Phil for having us, I have no doubt I speak for us all when I say we had a great time.
